Wow! Stumbled across this video, and recognized the Guide! I fished with him a couple weeks ago, not only did we tag out, we had a blast- very professional, lots of fun and really knows his stuff. Can't wait to get back to Washington to fish with him again!

Just curious to know where Chinook retention was open in early July? He even mentioned it in the video, but the ones being held up had sure evidence of hickory shampoo being used...

I mooch but its a long drive to tacoma and back for fresh herring and was wondering if guys know of any herring imitations I could mooch? And a sauce recommendation to put on the lures? Basically fishing for mature chinook and blackmouth. Thanks.

Small brads killer plugs or super thin trolling spoons, have to work it in the current or slowly bring it in if the water isn’t moving it, use pro cure scents like herring, sardine, anchovy, salmon named ones, or bloody tuna

      Ryan,
Please check the regs. And, take a look at the 1000s of boats out there fishing.

I’ve heard the pugent sound is loading with pcb from dumping into the duwamish river I wouldn’t eat any thing out of that poison water why you think the salmon keep dying and orcas Seattle is a wasteland now sad it wasn’t always

Don't net the salmon if your gonna release em

What if it’s a larger salmon and it’s wild which means you have to release it? Your just not gonna net it to get the hook out? The fish they released could have been kept legally so why would they not net it? I have salmon fished in Seattle area for a while now and the only reason I would not net a salmon I was releasing is if it was small enough for me to hold secure (so it doesn’t flop around) while I unhook it.
