    This hairstyle does make us love ourselves more.
    Even our physical beauty.
    Before I decided on getting freeforms, I was kinda shy of my body and its appearance.
    But now, I have total confidence.
    Freeforms are a gift from God😊😊

    I had 71 twists.
    I woke up after thinking about it the whole night and took out the twists. I was so worried.
    So, I’m starting my loc journey with a twist out. I have 3b/3c hair.
    I will be keeping my ends curly.
    I feel much better now.

    I'm starting my semi-freeform locs and I had manicured locs before but now that I think about it, I always wet my hair in the shower in the morning and it helped to keep my hair tightly coiled so I didn't have to retwist as much after 1 year honestly. I have short starter locs now and I can't wait to see how less retwisting very early on changes the look of it vs the manicured look. Love that you included photos of your previous stages

      OH MY GOSH! LAUREN HILL'S HAIR IS MY INSPIRATION AS WELL!!! 😍
      She DEFINITELY has more hair density than me ... I think that gave her that beautiful lion mane look! 🦁😍💙 But I believe she had semi-freeformed locs because sometimes they looked manicured but other times they didnt. She definitely didnt retwist often though, which helps hair thicken up and give a "full head of locs" appearance.
      I don't ever retwist mine, started them off pretty big, and I love the way they have turned out. It's as close to Lauren as I could get without implanting more hair! 😅
      But I have fine hair, and have just made due with what I was able to achieve with MY crown, feel me. I say do some research, look at her pics for inspiration, ask around (maybe even ask some locticians in your area, make sure they are trustworthy and dont just want your money) and then GO FOR IT! You can alway take them out and try again if you don't like the end result. Blessings 🙏🏿

    Me i let my hair grow till it is unable to be combed and made spikes there. I never used sponge and I did not plan to have freeform locs It just happened I let my hair grow till I can finally pick which hairstyle I want so then I ended up doing freeform locs. Wash hair, dry it and let it do its thing. Currently its making locs.
    Anything I should be told to do. I'd be appreciate to be guided. Thanks

    I Have Semi Free Forms As Well My Question Is How Did You Get Yours So Thick Some Of Mines Are Skinny And Falling Out

    • @AmberLoryn
      @AmberLoryn  Год назад +1

      mine were thing starting out too but i let them combine. sometimes i combined a couple if they were really thin. if yours are falling out at the root you may have to figure out if your hair is too dry, if you’re touching it too much or if you have a genetic problem with thinning. mine would only get thin in the middle from being pulled on by accident or regular everyday friction. overall, i recommend combining them manually and not touching them or styling them at all.

    • @JahTheRula
      @JahTheRula Год назад +1

      @@AmberLoryn So When I Combine Them Do I Just Get A Locing Needle And Combine Them From The Root Or How Would I Go About That

    • @AmberLoryn
      @AmberLoryn  Год назад +1

      @@JahTheRula that may be the best option if they’re really thinning out. i personally used to wrap them around each other or put one of the locs into the middle of the other loc multiple times to make them more secure. then they loc up over time. using a crochet hook would make them tighter faster though
