What a great story. Kind of like Quantum Leap meets Dr Who. I like the possible reference to the latter, the mention of “the Surgeon”, if that was intended.
Heh... I woke up @5:49:40, listened this part for a few minutes, found it to be appropriate words as my day started. Yes, quite humorous, somewhat overly-factual for fiction, I think.
It's AI... If you listen carefully you'll notice the phrasing is off. Especially when "he" uses "however" as an adverb he will incorrectly attach it to the following sentence instead of placing it where intended, at the end of the current sentence. It's still doing a halfway decent job.
i find myself understanding the science as easily as i breath and the humor is quite exquisite. i find that i even become emotionally invested in his story. in other words, excellent writing, keep at it.
This is sci-fi the science is not real, you do know that? It’s not even hard sci-fi, it is regular fiction with some science terms thrown in every once in a while (incorrectly)
@ you do realize that good sci-fi writing incorporates real science and even the made up science has to be sophisticated enough that it allows for an incredible suspension of disbelief. it’s not a dick, don’t take it so hard.
Amazing content! One thing I disliked is how certain of the property of time the traveler is, saying light's speed is constant through every universe or that a naked singularity can be gotten out of by going backwards with the help of time or when something is thought to be impossible its compared to 'time's end'. There's theories that some universes don't have time. Wish that'd be showcased in some universes, like he could look at the parts of our universe and see that time would be the 500th module, nowhere near the core or the top 10 of what makes a universe.
have you listened to it? it is 12 hours long, I am only 5 hours in, It would feel weird to comment about anything specific. I imagine most people just haven't finished it yet or moved on to another book
@@galacticimaginarium noice, not all of the HFY stories i found enjoyable, mostly because they overdoe it with the humans being awesome at everything at times going into supramacy with fascist tendencies or repetative revenge/conquest plots where i even wondered if this whole genre is a ploy of some culture warrior bullshit from alt right, but then there are a few gems like this one or the Black Ship which make me come back for more. This here is a nice take on dimension/reality hopping with pretty much any type of fiction possible hrhr i wouldn't mind if it gets even absurder and funnier like say Douglas Adams style. The only thing at times a bit much is the techno babble otherwise as i said enjoyable and waiting for more :)
I'm not a fan of this modern "dark energy" cludge when where is a far more simplistic answer that is better understood; being the 2nd law of thermodynamics.
I like this book but the MC seems to be the smart but dumb kind. He is obviously intelligent, but social clues and sometimes common sense seem to just whizz by him.
@pkennedy0219 Wow!!!! My comment is on this Video. All You are doing is Attacking me and Christianity. You have Serious Issues!!!! You are attacking Christianity a well Proven Historical Fact.
Love it. Many of the scenarios are plausible enough. 😊 Only have one complaint. I can't sleep when it's so interesting 😂
If this is an AI reading, it is really good! If it's you reading it, then surely you are the traveler 😅
This is fun. It's like Doctor Who married Quantum leap but had an affair with Highlander.
Maybe a little bit of Sliders.
This is by far the most Orginal Story on yt. Brilliant.
10 and a half hours in and it keeps the momentum up. Great job author.
thanks so much for this wonderful story , i dont want it to end
This audio book is my current go to. Really enjoying myself listening

Oh yea that was definitely a thinly veiled reference. Not sure if it was 100% joke or an attempt to evade copyright infringement.
Nice. Turning this on and going to bed
5 hours in and I'm still awake 🥺

@@lucas_94 I have had to go back and listen again getting distracted, but it really is too captivating to sleep to.
Interesting story and very pleasant narration! 🎉
35K views in a month.. thinking this might hit a million by next Christmas.. good luck..😉
The book is amazing... and the narration is S tier

He jumped from reality to reality, hoping his next jump to be the job home. 😂😂😂

The voice has been driving me nuts. So familiar. Count Dooku lol.
Fantastic!
This audio is a GEM!🎉
This book is super fun, entertaining, scientific oriented mixed with fabulous fantasy...though the rest of the story is not available 😕
Dr. Sam Beckett stepped into the quantum accelerator and vanished. He awoke...
