Watched your video, and was ready to drive again in less than 15 minutes. You saved me the price of a tow and having the issue fixed at a repair shop. I owe you a cup of coffee! Thanks so much!!
Thank you so much my brother, yours was the first to pop up on my search and got me right to my issue. I didnt have any tools, so I couldn’t remove the metal clip, but I was able to slip the ring over the stud to make the shifter work enough to get home. Thank you and be well! 🙏
Your video was a lifesaver. I was stuck in a walmart parking lot with now way to shift out of park. I watched your video and was able to MacGyver it in about 5 minutes. Save me a tow bill.
I’m do not normally comment on videos but your video got me out of a bad situation. This happened to my truck fright after I backup up onto the main highway. I was lucky enough to get into Neutral and get off the road. If I would not have found this video I would have had to leave my truck on the side of the road which could have been dangerous for people driving at night. This video is an answer to prayer, thank you!!

Exactly what my problem was! Once I watched your video I went back to check my shifter and sure enough there were grommet fragments in the bottom of the housing and the cable was off. I'll name my first child after you! Thanks for sharing :D

Instead of taking the metal piece off the cable I just hooked it back in place. I still need to fix it of course but it doesn't fall off that easy.

@@joshzulos the part called bushing. It’s cheap On ebay or Amazon : search frontier shifter cable bushing. $7. Hope this helps

What size grommet is required
You can get it from any autozones. Tell them your model. I used the zip ties for temporarily.
