I have a portable refrigerator. Have a 500 battery from a different company with a 100W solar panel. Most of the charging I’ve done is with the inverter when the truck is moving, but when stationary the solar panel is nice to have. These portable battery packs are a good solution, and a refrigerator is better than having your food floating in ice water. You would need a larger battery to run a refrigerator overnight.
@@deltabravo1257 again, since my truck has an inverter and regular 110 house style outlet (two actually) I use that while moving to charge the Jackery battery pack I use to power the refrigerator. That charges the battery pack faster than 12 volt or solar. Only use the solar panel when stationary.
It's the exact same thing as an Anker but with a different name brand. Even the website images are exactly the same as Anker, except Anker has slightly better prices on Amazon, especially during their sales days.
You’ll never pull stated capacity from any battery. This battery might work for a picnic. Don’t even bother with a no name battery, a lot can go wrong. I expect much better from this channel.
The power station you presented is already very small. There's not much going on. But of course it always depends on what you want to do. If we're camping off-road, I'll need a coffee, a heater, and maybe a stovetop. Therefore a minimum of 1000 watts, better 2000 watts. Then you will be prepared for anything for longer.
I like my 2000 watt Honda generator, it's nice & quiet. 2000 watts vs. 400 watts, & it's not gonna run out of gas any quicker than that thing runs out of charge. I'll be so glad when all this battery stuff goes away, batteries will never compete with fossil fuels. At least not in my life time.
I can appreciate a company trying to make some bank $$, but at least pick a company that's worth a shiit. That unit isn't big enough to recharge a phone a couple times.
So Roman told Alex and Andre they could each have one of these no-name Chinese "solar generators" if they would make a 10 minute video about them on their own time after work or on the weekend.
What makes you think they both could have 1? I must have missed that part. But obviously this is an infomercial for revenue purposes. As they have stated on more than a few occasions, they just don't make any money. $30 bucks a video can barely pay for .. well.. nothing I would imagine. Have to be getting $ from someplace other than youtube. ;) The over head for this company is substantial. Cannot expect them to be living off the thumbs up. 🤣
@@WW-wf8tutheir RUclips Ad revenue alone is substantial.. my YT channel earns okay with 6year old videos I've forgot about .. The Sponsorships definitely help TFL though
@@Styrkur13288Wh isn't enough to run that 48W load for 6 hours. That's definitely on the short end and you'd be relying on the panels to get you through a weekend
Yep. I have an 880Wh unit with a 100W panel by an actual reputable brand, and it can barely run a portable fridge/power-cooler through the night with no lights powered.
You are wasting alot of that battery for stupid crap, holiday lights, and such. How bout a fridge, freezer, microwave, heater, cooking plate, etc. Use the power more efficiently. Duh
I bought this largely because of this video and it ended up being a total POS. Do not buy this thing, it never stops beeping and doesn’t like to work in cold temperatures (anything below 50 degrees f it gets unhappy). I hoped you guys would ensure that the sponsorships you take are for quality products, but I was wrong. At least now I know I can’t trust you guys 🤷♂️
What you are hoking is kinda junk and very high cost for the power I gat a 1094wh (the important number) Lipo power station with 1000 watt inverter for $350 the one you are promoting is 288wh for $249 that's that's $0.87 per watt hour very very high compared to the rest of industry
This episode is seriously cringe worthy product shilling. I have a solar setup for my overland camper, so I'm not against it but this was pure product sales. Shame...

An inverter takes power FROM the battery and "inverts" it to 120 VAC, it doesn't "charge" a battery from the truck 12v.

Not enough power for camping 🏕️
You haven’t even watched the whole video yet. It was up for less than 3 minutes when you commented. How could you possibly know?

next they be selling asbestos

Should have done a review of the truck camper not the cheap off-brand solar generator
Alex did a review on it a few months ago. There’s a video on it.

Hoking? gat?
I have a Bluetti
TFL must be having a rough month to have to advertise junk products like this. There are so many better options on the market.
That’s what happens when you take whatever sponsorship you are offered without caring about quality.
It’s not that deep🤣 if you don’t like it unfollow
Curious if you have hands experience with this product? What are the negatives about it?
Looking to get a electirc generator like this one, what is the best option out there?

Chinese stuff?? NO THANKS!!
What would you buy? (Battleborn... uses Chinese batteries, bro) Offer a solution, not just being negative.
No
Does this have bypass charging?
What camper top is that?
I think it’s called the moonlander or moonerlander. They did a video on it

Junk
