The Huayra interior sadly to me looks like they got it right out of the hot wheels section in a Walmart. I would have to say Agera wins it for me easily.
huayra just overkilled it.. when you drive a hyper car it should be simple and easy to see when you need to shift gear, not getting blind by all the lights..
Robbie Hall my fav is the k'egg! you're right there its much chrome, but luckily no one have ever crashed the huayra before! The only thing k'eggs need is another dashboard.. :)
In my humble opinion, the main difference between this Pagani and the Agera, is that the Agera is a true supercar, while the Pagani... Well... May be the living proof that true passion for the automotive world exists and that it is possible to "transmit" it in an artistic way, without any complexes, breaking all barriers inherent in what we consider consensual... In a few words, it is love. True love.
The interior of the Huayra looks like a Victorian depiction of the 21st century. The Agera on the other hand looks like something from the future. Both are gorgeous in their own ways but I have to say, the Agera's doors are absolutely perfect!
@Janusha your argument is totally valid, sorry it took so long to reply but I judged the interiors on these trims because according to the minds that designed these cars this is the best looking way to have them, that's why they put these on display, and not different colored or finished ones. That means that they take it "you" (by you i mean the whole rest of the world) will probably select these trims. So if you only get to see one or two of these in your life theyll probably look like this
I think of it as, the Pagani is what a man thought of the future back in the 50's and the Agerra is our modern day interpretation of what the future will be. From an artistic standpoint I adore the interior of the Pagani. Its a very surreal leather meets metal mix they have. I get a very heavy classic sci-fi feel from it.
@Unstoppabulz I agree. I think the lights are a bit over the top, but that is the point. It is a car that is made with so insane styling that you have to give it some time before it really grows on you. But when it does, it wont let go. It is a car you either love or hate, and i really like that way of thinking. It is not a car your head wants as much as a car you just fall in love with. And love wont be replaced just because a new and faster car hits the streets.
Both interiors are amazing but that Pagani's dashboard is simply outrageously overdone and I love it. It matches the exotic sheetmetal. Can you imagine how that looks at dusk? If I had the kind of money it would take to buy one of these, I want the interior to be as over the top as the exterior.
The Pagani Huayra has a steampunk inspired interior with a great deal of attention being paid to the small details. In contrast, the Koenigsegg's interior is much more conventional. I think that the Pagani's interior is more fitting for a hypercar.
I will choose to appreciate the beauty of both because the level of detail is far above anything I've ever driven. And I know how much hardwork engineers put into building these cars.
i think people are forgetting these are 2, way over 1 million dollar HYPER cars so not exactly the place to look for refinement.... These are rolling pieces of art with no holds whatsoever... I personally think the Pagani is just amazing and pretty much anything out of Pagani's factor doors are amazing. If you would take the time and learn just how much time and resources go into making that interior the way it is your jaw would never leave the floor. The Agera looks like fucking speed racer...
Both are out of this world, BUT, to me the koenigsegg agera r, so much engineering, example the doors, the engine, turbos, triplex suspension, nano ghost light, nano surfaces on the cylinders to reduce the pressure, and i could spend here all day talking how much innovative koenigsegg is!
That's the deal. In the Huayra it's an escape. in the Agera it's a challenge. Both cars can provide adrenaline rushes for years, but I think that the Huayra can relax you at the same time as making you feel as if you're in a 1950's idea of a spaceship, youre flying around at 200 mph, and you feel protected. I love the way you described the Agera, but NEVER drift these cars, should you end up with one. They'll die like this *snaps finger*
these two cars would leave every semi-multi-millionaire confused, because they are the most astonishing super cars on the market, they make the bugatti veyron look outdated, but in terms of power i would go on the Agera R!!
Wow, both are sooo crazy from the outside, very cool looking.... I think the Agera is far better looking as far as the outside appearance. But the interior of the Huayra is so damn cool, very unique. I don't care what anyone else says, I think it is out of control looking, the gear shifter is pure awesome, and the cluster is outrageous looking! lol Its more goose bump inducing than the functional, and super clean interior of the Agera. Hard to say, can't say without seeing in person I bet.
@mechanicalspoonfork "Minor evolution"? 3000 new components. New 7-speed gearbox. New variable vane turbos and a modded engine. New brakes. New tyres. New instrument panel. Modified infotainment. New wheelbase. New e-diff and traction control. New aerodynamics with 300% more downforce in the medium wing config. New "small" bits and peices like the improved brake air vents and the new battery. New vortex generating wheels.... Apart from the chassi and panels - what's "old" on this car?
@MagnificentKot The nicest way to put this is that people have differing opinions. One mans "work of art" may be another mans "flamboyant Liberace dress-up". Similarly "focus, purpose and minimalism" may be interpreted as "boring". There isn't a correct answer in this as they're all gorgeous in their own way - it's just odd that those who like Pagani always are the ones who seem to think they know the right answer. "But is it art?" is even a common message board goof on Pagani enthusiasts.
The Agera is beautiful, but I prefer the Huayra because of the way the brushed aluminium contrasts the carbon fiber, and the wood-colored leather. It's more... inviting, as if the car was saying " yeah, I got 700 horses in the back, but hop in. You'll feel right at home." The Agera is beautifull as well, but its more of the kind of car you'd take to a meeting; the inside resembles a tuxedo, the colors look cold, I'd fell more comfortable riding in a Pagani, but I love both cars.
@IWCtube Agree with you on the Pagani part, however agera's interior looks superior in my eyes. Its so pretty. Looking at the pagani interior for a few hours would give me epilepsy.
@m5boarddotcom You can say that of the outside of the car , if the form makes it more faster , but the form of the instruments has something to do with the function? , dont think so. I like both tough
Blue, red and white is my favorite coulors ! Maybe thats why I like Koenigsegg the most!! I can`t see any coulor theme on the interior or the exterior of the Pagani at all!!
looks are an opinion, whether or not you think Koenigsegg is for whoever doesnt matter. they say the same about Lamborghini and Ferrari but honestly, why does it matter? Koenigsegg may feel more cramped but thats because they made the seats more centrally located for a better balance. To end, Koenigsegg offers any color you want on your car and they will mix paints for you if you want a specific color
@Avus95 it's so that people who want to take a weekend away in their supercar can bring more stuff than just a toothbrush, it's a really great idea! Sure it doesn't look good, but if i had a Koeni i'd buy a skirack for the purpose that i could actually take the car down to the riviera etc.
Koenigsegg's for die-in-a-ball-of-fire unadulterated driving pleasure. Pagani's for pure bragging rights and owner pride. If you'd twist my arm I'd take... either. An interesting comparison of two very different design philosophies.
thatabu I guess you changed the names. What you said would be true if youd say that agera is trying to be futuristic, but it ain't working and that the huayra looks better.
Yeah! Completly right. How Could some1 think the Huayra interior Looks better than koenigseggs interior? I would Not be able to Drive the pagani, but Why should i choose a pagani if theres a koenigsegg too?
Uummm Koenigsegg looks like the interior and paint job were inspired by cindy Lauper and madonna in an eighties or nineties theme . Pagani looks like it was done by an artist.
The Huayra's interior is a display of art and not trying to be futuristic. The metals are billet aluminum (made from solid aluminum and a lot more expensive the cast aluminum). Every part of the Huayra (in and out) are meticulously made from high grade materials and every part was made beautifully and functionally. Pagani himself inspected all parts made (be it in-house or outside contractors). The Agera is more simplistic in its design but not necessarily mean less... and it has one thing that no other manufacturer has, the door... it's unique to the Agera. The interior lights (both cars) are not neon, but rather LEDs... which is the rage these days. Both cars are amazing and both cars have their merits. As similar as these cars are, they are totally different... from totally different perspectives...
WHICH CAR BELONGS TO the younger crowd and which belongs to the older? (i personally, think the pagani is for the older and the k.ageraR is for the newer...) thoughts?

I'd agree with your description of the Koenigsegg, but your description of Pagani's car is really unfitting. Going by interior alone the Huayra wins hands down yes it has a lot going on but it's a work or art. Going by proformance then the Agera r wins. I like both cars exterior so thats a tough choice.
The Huayra (pronounced H-Why-Ra) is comparable in terms of price, technology, extravagance and performance to the Aston Martin One-77, whereas the Koenigsegg Agera is comparable to the Veyron/Veyron SS due to its technology and performance. The Huayra is about exclusivity and luxury, even with the performance whereas the Agera is about performance, even with the exclusivity and luxury.
Agera is simple and raw power. Huayra is pure class and art. They are not comparable, they are both great but be honest, when will most owners actually go above 150mph? Huayra for me.
@EpicHaxThriller Thats far from chrome is a titanium alloy on natural color which matches perfectly the high quality materials while keeping weight down.. when something that useful looks this nice at its most basic pureness, is extremely hard for anyone to do better; so rejecting this design it just means having no appreciation for what is valuable either pure.. thats what being tasteless means. Not everything that shines is tacky.. long time ago people knew that..
The pagani is a bit to much for me, the agera seems like it belongs in a different time period though. From the outside its a bit closer though. The rearview mirror on the pagani is pure art.
I find it hard to choose between the Pagani and the Koenigsegg, as I stated in my other comment. But I'd take either one of them over a Bugatti. The Bugatti feels like an enlargened Beetle made to break world records and not a car that was made with a lot of care for the customer. I mean every 3,000 miles you have to replace the Michelin tires in the Bugatti! So impractical!
@LiLBoy1221 yea that Huayra's interior is confused and crazy but if your going to buy a million dollar + car buy it for is craziness not for it smooth sophisticated look.
i choose the agera for its uniqueness i just love how the car have been made almost in house production specially the engine, unlike the pagani its engine is built by amg its just disgusting to see that mr. pagani is a chief engineer of lambo but he can't make his own engine unlike mr.koenigsseg he was able to make an flexible fuel engine first of its class!!
If you don't like the Pagani's interior, then you have not liked any of them? Dramatic interiors are not a new concept for the company. Pagani has a classier quintessenntialy italian design language inside. The Agera looks tech forward (Tron comes to mind). Neither is better than the other, it's which do you prefer.
@tingokuman made in italy by an argentinian designer that worked for lamborghini, ferrari, fiat, jeep and many F1 teams, including ferrari. Horacio Pagani
Both cars are beautiful, and both companies are considered new.....im from Dubai and my dream is to build a Supercar :) i want to show the world that every nation that Arabs are capable of building anything if they have a dream. Thank You Sweden For The Koenigsegg
I agree, I would take a Agera any day over the Pagani. Although the Pagani interior impressed me a little more with its extravagance, I don't think a super car should be that fancy. I would expect to see something like that in a Rolls Royce or a Bentley. Why that horrible "ski box" on the top....
@purpleflith No that's right mate. It makes it awesome. Pagani along with Spyker do the best interiors by far. Seriously to even compare the bland Agera against the Pagani is an insult to all that's Holy.
The huayra looks a little TOO clustery. all the gauges look messy and thrown in. The Agera's interior looks comfy and doesn't look like you'd be scared of smacking a gauge and breaking it off.
I seriously doubt the Huayra's cluster will end up *exactly* like that in the production version, and the Agera's will likely be toned down a bit. Still, both will look very much like that. That said, the Pagani's opulence, even if a bit overdone is my preference. It's a Pagani, would a generic instrument cluster be better?
The amount of detail and time put into making these beauties is astounding. Just a work of art.
Ten years later and still modern cars. amazing!
The Huayra is pure jewelry. I can't think of a single other place on earth I would rather just sit in and admire.
I watch some of you videos and I play Battlefield 4 too ;)
But I prefeer Koenigsegg ;)
Agera R have more much show perfect design Unique style
Get in a japan gambling hall...there is even more blingbling ;)
Agreed Huayra's I interior is just marvelous
+Barnacules Nerdgasm Is that a joke? That thing is fucking hideous. It looks like something some rapper sketched out in a paint program.
Its more of a driver's car. It has the looks and the performance to back it up.
The pagani is just art.. so futuristic probably will never look outdated.
In my humble opinion, the main difference between this Pagani and the Agera, is that the Agera is a true supercar, while the Pagani... Well... @DanDiovandi Skibox and you can also have other things it.

@oddchihuahua It's customer spec, made to order. The winning message would be: "If you want it, we can make it."
I will choose to appreciate the beauty of both because the level of detail is far above anything I've ever driven. And I know how much hardwork engineers put into building these cars.

They'll die like this *snaps finger*
@BLCKHD3 Its actually a norwegian that designed the agera and the agera r, hees name is Bård Eker and is from fredrikstad
these two cars would leave every semi-multi-millionaire confused, because they are the most astonishing super cars on the market, they make the bugatti veyron look outdated, but in terms of power i would go on the Agera R!!

Each gauge on the Huayra's instrument cluster costs about 5000 euros, if I recall correctly.
2 monsters.! Welcher der beiden am besten aussieht ist Geschmackssache, finde ich.!

Who is playing the Dark Knight music over and over at Geneva?
@IWCtube Agree with you on the Pagani part, however agera's interior looks superior in my eyes. Its so pretty. Looking at the pagani interior for a few hours would give me epilepsy.
koenigsegg! ftw
I don't there is a comparison. The Huayra is pure art.
ROFLcopter for me the koenigsegg is pure Art
I hope the Huayra won't have a Roadster version, with that interior, the sun will shine on your face with those shiny aluminium
@m5boarddotcom You can say that of the outside of the car , if the form makes it more faster , but the form of the instruments has something to do with the function? , dont think so. I like both tough

@interista7878 Im talking about the Standard Agera presented last year in Geneva. The white one is the Agera R
@EventisInnovations If you are talking about the Koenisegg Agera R, it is actually a 275 MPH hypercar. (Thats faster than Bugatti Veyron SuperSports!)
Both are great, both are from Europe and both look great but the Agera is still my favourite.
looks are an opinion, whether or not you think Koenigsegg is for whoever doesnt matter. they say the same about Lamborghini and Ferrari but honestly, why does it matter? Koenigsegg may feel more cramped but thats because they made the seats more centrally located for a better balance.
To end, Koenigsegg offers any color you want on your car and they will mix paints for you if you want a specific color
the huyra has to much shit just stuffed in there, prefer the koenigsegg's Clean look.
+Viktor Nilsson yees it looks like too much plastic
yess
The Pagani has the most butiful interior while the Koenigsegg has the COOLEST interior!!!!
And as a teenager i like the Koenigsegg most.
Koenigseggs make everything else look incomplete or hurried. Everything in the Koenigsegg is polished to perfection.
Cara, não tem interior mais detalhado do que o do Pagani Huayra!
@m5boarddotcom Is the skibox an idea of Jon Olsson? He had a Lambo LP670 SV with a skibox..
I cant beleive everyones ragging on the Pagani... that is the single most beautiful interior ive ever seen!
I personally think it would be fucking amazing to have the agera R exterior and the pagani interior.
interior of the huayra is waaaaay too much going on. koenigsegg for the win. faster and much more user friendly design
Dose it matter
@Avus95 it's so that people who want to take a weekend away in their supercar can bring more stuff than just a toothbrush, it's a really great idea! Sure it doesn't look good, but if i had a Koeni i'd buy a skirack for the purpose that i could actually take the car down to the riviera etc.
Koenigsegg's for die-in-a-ball-of-fire unadulterated driving pleasure. Pagani's for pure bragging rights and owner pride. If you'd twist my arm I'd take... either.
An interesting comparison of two very different design philosophies.
The agera instruments and interior are impressive, but the pagani's are a work of art!
Pagani Huayra interior (still with the aventador starting switch), Jaguar C-X75 exterior, Lamborghini Aventador sound and engine = perfect car
The Huayra has a flipper table interior, trying to be futuristic but it ain't working. The one in the Agera is way better.
do you even know what you talking about? How does the Pagani look more futuristic or trying to look?
thatabu I guess you changed the names. What you said would be true if youd say that agera is trying to be futuristic, but it ain't working and that the huayra looks better.

@MagnificentKot It's all true, so no. Marc Basseng has been hired before and since then (he was hired to do the Ring lap in the Zonda R for instance) and the simple fact is that Koenigsegg was the o-n-l-y car that day not allowed to change it's settings.
What about it is nonsense?
All of these specs with Koenigsegg agera R instruments plus all wheel drive system & it'll be perfect design
And all the sudden Mona lisa was forgotten..... Seriously this is just a peice of art. The cronocluster is 6800$ itself and made out of pure titanium.
Both are epic cars im a huge fan of koenigsegg but the interior of the huayra its just amazing, unique one of a kind its like a retro classy-sport car beautiful handcrafted cars both!
The Pagani looks like a baroque time machine
Was it furnished by Franco Cozzo?
Pagani is a work of art! Both cars are beautiful but pagani interior is on another level. Pure artistry.
I'd agree with your description of the Koenigsegg, but your description of Pagani's car is really unfitting. As wazzap496 said, the Huayra can relax you more and looks more inviting, and the Agera looks more like a car a person would take to a formal event - it looks cold, and it's more of a tuxedo than a home. But I love both cars, I just feel that the Pagani is more inviting.
Going by interior alone the Huayra wins hands down yes it has a lot going on but it's a work or art. Going by proformance then the Agera r wins. I like both cars exterior so thats a tough choice.
two of the three best cars in the world
1. Pagani Huayra
2. Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster
3. Koenigsegg Agera R
do the ski coat/pants fit in the trunk or do you have to buy new ones once you arrive?
huyra is like bling bling!!!! . agera is subtle easy on eyes and both are beautiful ,for me agera wins .
The Huayra (pronounced H-Why-Ra) is comparable in terms of price, technology, extravagance and performance to the Aston Martin One-77, whereas the Koenigsegg Agera is comparable to the Veyron/Veyron SS due to its technology and performance. Agera is simple and raw power.
Huayra is pure class and art.

koenigsegg center console may look cheap and palstic but boy does it feel quality :o its titanium.
@JCKCPA No. Koeningsegg made their own engine for this one. You are misstaken by the cctx that has a ford engine.
The pagani is a bit to much for me, the agera seems like it belongs in a different time period though. From the outside its a bit closer though. The rearview mirror on the pagani is pure art.

what are those round things on the Paganis seats at 0:01 ?
i choose the agera for its uniqueness i just love how the car have been made almost in house production specially the engine, unlike the pagani its engine is built by amg its just disgusting to see that mr. pagani is a chief engineer of lambo but he can't make his own engine unlike mr.koenigsseg he was able to make an flexible fuel engine first of its class!!
is the huayra going to have a manual or just the flappy paddle gearbox?
Both Co. Are my favourite
Both Co. Are defination of Art
Always wondered what those round metal things are in the Pagani's seats. I think they might be to adjust the seats. Any ideas guys??
@hockonvict no the pagani does not ooz "class" something that shiny is just stupid.... :/
There is this fact that many people is missing Koenigsegg is a Super Sports Car and Pagani does it in a tuxedo..
I agree with the interior, but the Pagani is smoother on the outside
The Pagani's interior is nice to look at as a concept car maybe, but I'd have to take the Koenisegg.
Gustav, when will you race the Huayra vs the Agera!
@tingokuman made in italy by an argentinian designer that worked for lamborghini, ferrari, fiat, jeep and many F1 teams, including ferrari. Horacio Pagani
The agera is so much more stylish and classy, while the huayra just says "Hey look at me i have alot of shiny stuff"
Agera R has that futuristic racer interior that I love
I really like koenigseggs philosophy with the no plastic interior. Like aluminium buttons with backlit images? Its amazing!
Both cars are beautiful, and both companies are considered new.....im from Dubai and my dream is to build a Supercar :) i want to show the world that every nation that Arabs are capable of building anything if they have a dream. Thank You Sweden For The Koenigsegg
Do you think you'll get these cars on the track Gustav? That would be an amazing race!
True!
Koenigsegg is for me, PURE "AUTO-PORN"... and it's "ORGASMICLY-BEAUTIFUL"... and it even look (kinda..) good with a Ski Box on... lol...
I agree, I would take a Agera any day over the Pagani. Although the Pagani interior impressed me a little more with its extravagance, I don't think a super car should be that fancy. I would expect to see something like that in a Rolls Royce or a Bentley. Why that horrible "ski box" on the top....
huayra interior looks too tacky, I'm sure its very high quality but it looks like cheap plastic. I love the Agera interior though
Lol😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 when a lawnmower driver reviews cars
You are stupid
@purpleflith No that's right mate. It makes it awesome. Pagani along with Spyker do the best interiors by far. Seriously to even compare the bland Agera against the Pagani is an insult to all that's Holy.
That interior looks like it was designed 100% for the Dubai market
The huayra looks a little TOO clustery. all the gauges look messy and thrown in. The Agera's interior looks comfy and doesn't look like you'd be scared of smacking a gauge and breaking it off.
I seriously doubt the Huayra's cluster will end up *exactly* like that in the production version, and the Agera's will likely be toned down a bit. Still, both will look very much like that. That said, the Pagani's opulence, even if a bit overdone is my preference. It's a Pagani, would a generic instrument cluster be better?
I have to go with the Agera R but that Huayra looks awesome!
