I’m so ready to see this movie!! It look so good and ready to see more about the life that this man lived. Such an inspiration to others during his own challenges that he was facing!
Not just part of the reason, THE reason. Kevin Feige has directors watch the original Superman before directing marvel films. That’s how perfect it is.
He was impersonating his instructor at Julliard, John Houseman, who had won an Oscar a year or two before. So, no, that wasn't his real voice (during the Johnny Carson interview). The one he uses at the opening of the trailer is.
He was so good-looking and fun loving. In one of his first interviews, I think on Larry King Live, after his accident he answered a question about what happened to him with this (paraphrased) "Some people fall out of a window on the sixth floor and only have a few scratches. Others trip over their shoe laces and have a fatal fall." His and Robin Willams' friendship was everything the definition of friendship should be. That was not the actual footage of his near fatal accident. Apparently he fell straight on the top of his head and his first 2 vertebrae were crushed by the weight of his entire body. Basically his injury could be compared to being decapitated because his skull was no longer attached to (the rest of) his spine, but was only attached to the rest of his body by skin, veins, arteries, muscles and nerves. You can hear him tell it in his own words here ruclips.net/video/gXYFJe2yU3M/видео.html It's a miracle he survived at all.
Did you know, his wife died of lung cancer two years later and she never smoked. Their son was 13 years old and left with no parents at all. His mom made arrangements before she died to have her next door neighbors raise him because he was best friends with their son and she didn't want to uproot him from his friends. Wow, what a great Mom to do this
Christopher reeve fell from his horse. in 1995 and broke his c-2 vertebrae and could not breathe on his own he needed help from a respirator. I was in my twenties when he got injured and the fan mail he received was pahenominenal or however you spell it (im intielectiually handicapped sand a terrible typer)

I'm a 70's and 80's kid, seeing the Superman scenes and hearing the music gave me goosebumps and made me cry 😢
Perfect score man, Top 3 movie score of all time

I couldn't imagine being in that situation at 13 years old.
Who's your favorite Superman?
Christopher Reeve!

He was an inspiration to all comic book fans, even today.
