German food in general is kind of boring. It’s definitely not considered a culinary powerhouse like some of its neighboring countries. And let’s be honest, when’s the last time you’ve heard someone say let’s get German food tonight

@@NomadicWes Thanks, it made a big impression on me when I first saw it, it may impress other viewers. As I recall Karstadt on the Kudam had one but it wasn't as good.
@@NomadicWes Another place to visit is Zur Letzten Instanz, the oldest kneipe in the city. Dates from 1600s. It's in mitte.

Bürgermeister sucks. im sorry. it's kind of just average. actually, all of the burger places in Berlin are average. honestly, in n out alone can trump all of them and thats not even like a premium burger spot in the states. I know it's tough to compete against the motherland when it comes to burgers. but it's def not worth going out of your way to get a burger in this city.
To me that's just very funny, I have been living overseas for 30 years and can only imagine how Germany, or Europe for that matter is struggeling to imitate the Hamburger culture of America.....Having said that, bet the Americans could'nt copy our Currywurst either,😉
@@sabrinaclarus6290 currywurst isn’t popular in America and I doubt it would ever be even if the quality could match. It’s definitely more of an acquired taste. But then again I’ve never really seen currywurst anywhere else in the world. It’s not as ubiquitous as burgers
