Wavy brown hair [stands] stiffly on top of his head Strange… intense… face frozen in a wide-eyed stare Large, glassy, bright blue (or green) eyes [that glow] as if they’re alive Bright red painted lips curved up into an eerie, ugly, totally evil smile. I was always confused how the Marauders were able to hang out in animal from every full moon, cause I always imagine the movie version. This would make more sense.
Your troll is so much better than the HP movie one! Also, my absolute favorite piece of art in the entire video is your final ink-on-parchment drawing of weak Voldemort. That thing is epic!
I've always thought that troll looked awful, but I think a lot of that had to do with the way CGI was at the time. It might have looked better if it didn't just look so plastic.😂
@@blu.dru_ To be fair, it came out just before LOTR, which basically pushed film forward by every technical level to a ridiculous degree. You can see that the monsters in the following movies, such as Aragog in Chamber of Secrets, look way better.
This is absolutely the best kind of sponsored video. I don’t have a problem with sponsorships in general because, well, people gotta feed their kids lol. But Jazza is great at making the kind of content that seamlessly and organically incorporates the sponsorship into the actual content of the video.
These turned out so awesome! Congratulations! Your troll was way better than the movie troll! But to be fair, the movie is quite old CGI wise. There has been a vast development in the last 20 years.
As an ameture artist looking up at a professional one, you know what I see? Patience. Jazza has vision, but that's not so difficult. What's difficult is standing there for _hours,_ finding the lines, and bringing them to life. Not just once but twice, in 2D AND 3D. Bravo, Jazza. You're a true master!
These were all so cool, toddler Voldemort looks so much like Gollum! Loved the Dobby. The troll is brilliant, he looks like the giants in the BFG! Can’t think which version he looks more like from, book, animated or more recent film, but spot on !
So here's the thing, I read the books before I watched the movies & I am a harry potter fan but I remember watching the films and thinking "oh they did not look like this is my head". In my imagination reading the books, they looked so much more like your sculptures which you are incredible at btw. BUT the MVP of this video is obviously Murray. He's got amazing skills. Those finished products where awesome 👏👏👏
Awesome Job as always, especially the troll is really close to how I imagined him from the books! And great paint job by Murray as well, the eyes on Dobby are so good!!!!
i thought the sane thing when I saw the final result 😂. Also for us who had played the Witcher games the final result looks like the ghouls that are found in graveyards or battle fields and eat the dead.
Jazza ive been binging your videos lately as I draw. Watching you thru it always helped me realize that art isnt always about perfection, but about the learning process. Its making me more comfortable when my art not coming out the way i imagined it. So thank you ❤
Hey man been a long time fan and just want to say don’t push yourself and make your joy of art feel like a job thanks for making videos love you so much man
I wouldn't even have the balls to write in a book that nice lol even the blank pages are art. And then he shows up and takes everything to the next level
These were so cool! I'd love to see you do Fluffy, Aragog and the Basilisk! Dobby was my favorite, I always thought house elves would look so cute and sad and you really nailed that! Also yes, you're troll was way better.
Sounds like Jazza's found a new tool to smother with unbound love and creativity. The troll definitely looks vastly more intimidating than the goofy looking one we see in the movie. Dobby just makes me want to hug him even more. Poor guy's been through a lot no thanks to the Malfoys. As for the program itself, while I'm not particularly keen on the VR style (I wear glasses, so any VR headsets are already a pain to use), the fact Shapelab comes with a Desktop version makes me very keen on buying after Christmas. Glad you're enjoying it, it looked like a lot of fun sculpting in the VR space.
Apart from the title, this video is full of good stuff: your Dony and Orc are definitely much better than the movie, Murray killed it with the colors, and on a side plus, I wanna point out your have very beautiful handwritting. Loved it, please do more in the future!
omgggg ive been watching jazza for so long and I started digital art due to animation videos & challenges, thank you jazza for inspiring so many people everyday….. love your videos so much🫶🏽
I actually found all the harry potter dvds and fantastic beasts at the salvos on Wednesday and am looking forward to introducing my 9yo to this magical world. She is a big fan of your channel too so i hope this video will create more of an interest in pop core fest for this weekend. Thanks jazza, your timing is spit on.
I love jazza shapelab videos, not only because it's so fun to see that process but also because you can just feel how much you genuinely radiate excitement and creative energy.
SO COOL!!! Holy christmas cookie! The sculpting is beautifully executed, and Murry's paint-jobs are outstanding! The Murry Method lends so well to Jazza's detailed models😍 More of this PLEASE!
I'd like to propose a challenge to Mr. Jazza: draw Brazilian monsters from their folclore books descriptions only! Ps: I'm in love with the series! Happy holidays!
This video was delightful! I haven't seen any of the movies or read the books, but I am familiar with many of the characters. It's interesting to see character descriptions brought to life outside of movies. It reminded me of a short Elyse Myers posted earlier this month about being afraid to imagine what the lead male character looked like in the book she was reading.
15:49 I feel the eyes should have been proportionally bigger compared to the head. I mean hold tennis balls to your head in the eyes area and imagine your head the size of a 5-7 year old.
I love your drawings, they really inspire me and makes me wanna draw every time I watch your videos. But I must say I'm extremely impressed with your 3d sculpting. I never dared to try them out, but I always wanted to, and your miniatures are definitely worth, like mass production for a boardgame. Which I also really love. I love great miniatures in boardgames
Dobby doesn’t care. Master gave Dobby a sock, Dobby is on a beach. Dobby creates mojitos out of thin air. Dobby is happy. Thank you for thinking of Dobby, Dobby will remember this
Not one to comment usually but unfortunately it's to say something negative so sorry in advance but I'm disappointed that Jazza wastes his talent on Harry Potter related stuff. Yeah sure it's part of everyone's childhood, me included, but with how its author has weaponized her fame and money to actively attack the trans community and remove their rights in the UK, I feel like it's time to let this franchise die as it should. I speak as a trans woman myself (the traget of her attacks although I don't live in her country) and as a former Harry Potter fan. If you really care about us please don't promote or buy anything related to it please (unless it's second hand or not official). Doing so makes her think she is in the right and she won't stop. ^^' I don't care if this comment receives hate but it had to be said. Jazza probably won't read this though. Anyways. Not gonna watch the video (because you know why) or any other with Harry Potter content in it but the rest I will gladly as I did for years. Now take care everyone and have a great day!
Really disappointing seeing Harry Potter stuff in the current climate, like have people just forgotten how big of a transphobe she is? It’s 2024 we can let this franchise die, jk rowling doesn’t need anymore money or publicity
Agree all the way. Had this discussion with a friend recently, she just couldn’t get it. Some prefer to value a fantasy world over the wellbeing of trans people, unfortunately. Not saying this is definitely the case for jazza but it does answer the question of why so many people seem to have forgotten.
I wasn't even aware of her views but I'm just so sick and tired of the franchise that I can't wait for it to die. Never been a fan and never understood all the hype it got, even though I've read a few of the books and watched some of the movies (peer pressure), but the more popular it got, the more allergic I became to the whole thing. It really is the highest time to let it go.
@@Ganchanzilla I don't care she said peoples with pps should use mens restrooms. I enjoy the series. This is youtube, not twitter. Loosen up a little, people can enjoy things here
Having seen other artists do something similar for a variety of books, I came into this with low expectations but I am very impressed with your amazing skills. You are an amazing illustrator!
Can we PLEASE get Murray's painting progress as a video on Tabletop Time? I'm always in awe of his painting and would be great to see him talk through it
I think this is the best video that I’ve seen in your channel in ages… the process of drawing, sculpting and 3D printing with that amazing painting technique… damn… it must feel amazing to see your creations come to life like this… I would spend hours watching more videos like this one… and of course I love your other videos, but this one… damn… I was mesmerized…
i really like the video! I am a potterhead, and its so cool! I think that you should do hagrid's giant brother next (I forget his name!) you should also do basklisk, werewolf, dementy, and charectors like harry, hermione, ron, the other weasleys, and other charectors.
I would LOVE to see you do the characters next! Like Snape would be super interesting to see your interpretation (especially since he's supposed to be in his 30's and not his 50's like Alan Rickman was- tho RIP, Alan, you were the best nevertheless
I absolutely love the feel of these drawings on that kind of paper and with the type of pen This whole video has been a great exhibition of virtual sculpting and 3D printing and if I had the means I would love to try this some day
this kind of formate and build process would save/bring back table top tim time. have everyone work on parts of a story, then make and paint, then play the story, raffle viewer input and mini give aways, maybe build your own game. happy holidays.
This was so sick!!!! I was mesmerized watching you sculpt them in 3D! You crushed it for sure. Please do more with the 3D sculpting and then printing/painting. It was so satisfying to see it come to life from concept to fully rendered product.
Your videos always cheer me up and I wanted to thank you so much Jazza. Your videos inspire me a lot as an artist and I did show my husband your channel and he thought it was so cool. Merry Christmas, and Happy holidays everyone here celebrates. Much peace and love to all :)
As always, your talent is phenomenal! The first two you clearly knocked out of the park. I was a bit disappointed in the proportions of your troll’s head to the rest of his body. (Sorry!!!!!) but his head seemed to be WAY too small, as if some casted a reduction charm in it. Otherwise, spot on! You are such a great artist, and I have trouble drawing stick figures. 😊 keep up the fantastic art!
You did a much better job at designing these creatures than the art department did in the movies! I really wish movie adaptations would stick to the book descriptions of the characters and creatures because they would be so much more accurate to the books. Perhaps you could do the thestrals, the basilisk, and the merfolk next???

The book even mentions “He’s not easy to describe” although…
(He is from Victorian London)
Young man
There is something wrong with his appearance, something displeasing, something downright detestable
Pale (of a dusky pallor) and dwarfish
He gives a strong feeling of deformity, though… can’t specify the point
[Gives] an impression of deformity without any nameable malformation
[Has] a displeasing smile
[Bears] himself… with a murderous mixture of timidity and boldness
Evil [is] written broadly and plainly upon the face of [this character]… evil… left on [his] body an imprint of deformity and decay
Remarkable combination of great muscular activity and great apparent debility of constitution
Hand… [is] lean, corded, knuckly… and thickly shaded with a swart growth of hair
Particularly small and particularly wicked looking
Draw this character too!
A seafaring man… [gentleman] of fortune (IE a pirate)
50 (years old)
Left leg [is] cut off close by the hip and under his left shoulder … [and] by a lanyard round his neck… he [carries] a crutch
Very tall and strong […heavy…] with a face as big as a ham, plain and pale
Immense [...fine, broad cloth...] blue coat [daubed with clay and torn] thick with brass buttons [hangs] as low as to his knees and fine laced hat [is] set on the back of his head
Here’s another!
Very tall and very thin… lean body
Dressed in a grey suit that [has] many dark stains on it
Face [is] unshaven
Rather than two eyebrows, he [has] just one long [...scraggly...] one
Eyes [are] very, very shiny which [make] him look both hungry and angry
Skinny throat
Pale skin
Scraggly… scrawny… bony hands
Shadowy smile
Sharp and dirty fingernails
(There is another descriptor of this character, but it is so unique to him that it’s inclusion would just be a spoiler)
And another!
Tall, but exceedingly lank with narrow shoulders, long arms and legs, hands that [dangle] a mile out of his sleeves, feet that might have served for shovels, and his whole frame most loosely [hangs] together
His head [is] small, and flat atop with huge ears, large green glassy eyes, and a long snipe nose so that it [looks] like a weather-cock perched upon his spindle neck to tell which way the wind blew
His clothes bagging and fluttering about him
If you want another monster, draw this!
Wavy brown hair [stands] stiffly on top of his head
Strange… intense… face frozen in a wide-eyed stare
Large, glassy, bright blue (or green) eyes [that glow] as if they’re alive
Bright red painted lips curved up into an eerie, ugly, totally evil smile. The lower lip [has] a chip in one side so that it [doesn’t] quite match the other lip
[Wears] a grey, double breasted suit… [that has] some dark stains on one lapel… over a white shirt collar… stapled to his neck… not attached to a shirt. Instead the… chest is painted white.
Red bow tie [is] crooked and coming untied.
Arms and legs dangle lifelessly
Big black (or brown) leather shoes very scuffed up [are] attached to the ends of his thin dangling legs
Hands… [hang] limply… [have] deep scratches… knuckles appear cut and bruised
Here is another monster
(From 19th century masquerade setting)
Masked figure
Tall and gaunt and shrouded from head to foot in the habiliments of the grave
The mask [… is] made so nearly to resemble the countenance of a stiffened corpse
Vesture [is] dabbled in blood and his broad brow with all the features of the face [is] besprinkled with the scarlet horror
Untenanted by any tangible form
Here’s another “monster”, I guess.
Ebony bird
Grave and stern decorum of…countenance
Crest [is] shorn and shaven
Grim, ungainly, ghastly, gaunt, and ominous
Firey eyes … have all the seeming of a demon’s that is dreaming
Here is another “monster” with a description so specific it would be very easy
Very large… black cat
Long and sharp claws
White hair… covering nearly the whole region of the breast… assumed a rigorous distinctiveness of outline… of the gallows
Deprived of one of its eyes
These characters are...
Mr Hyde - The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde - Robert Louis Stevenson
Long John Silver - Treasure Island - Robert Louis Stevenson
Count Olaf - A Series of Unfortunate Events (this description was compiled from several books) - Lemony Snicket
The spoiler description is he “[has] an image of an eye tattooed on his ankle”
Ichabod Crane - The Legend of Sleepy Hollow - Washington Irving
Slappy the dummy - Goosebumps (this description was compiled from several books) - RLStine
The Red Death - Masque of the Red Death - Edgar Allan Poe

These turned out so awesome! Congratulations! Your troll was way better than the movie troll! But to be fair, the movie is quite old CGI wise. There has been a vast development in the last 20 years.
I wish you could be the new character designer for the new Harry Potter series that is planned. The creatures look really great, awesome job Jazza!
This is some of your best work. Please do more of the sketch -> 3d model -> miniature format
18:00 - you grew five heads?
Love how all of these turned out!
LMAO
HYDRA
Awesome Job as always, especially the troll is really close to how I imagined him from the books! And great paint job by Murray as well, the eyes on Dobby are so good!!!!
2:30 VERY Sad Gollum :(
I was thinking that too
6:44 bro aimed at Lord Voldemort but hit smeagol 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Na, his fet are too small for a hobbit
i thought the sane thing when I saw the final result 😂. Also for us who had played the Witcher games the final result looks like the ghouls that are found in graveyards or battle fields and eat the dead.
😂😂😂😂 that was an epic miss
Jazza ive been binging your videos lately as I draw. Watching you thru it always helped me realize that art isnt always about perfection, but about the learning process. Its making me more comfortable when my art not coming out the way i imagined it. So thank you ❤
This is such a wonderful concept! Please create more minis, Murray takes them to another realm. it's such an inspiration guys!!
Something about someone drawing with a pen on old looking paper, is just so perfectly satisfying
Hey man been a long time fan and just want to say don’t push yourself and make your joy of art feel like a job thanks for making videos love you so much man
I wouldn't even have the balls to write in a book that nice lol even the blank pages are art. And then he shows up and takes everything to the next level
That's the best depiction of Dobby i've ever seen! He looks amazing!
Making then 3d was such a good idea they look amazing and it's really easy to see your vision in a way 2d art can't
FREAKING COOL! Wow… please make dementor, basilisk and horntail next!! That would be so epic!!
These were so cool! I'd love to see you do Fluffy, Aragog and the Basilisk! Dobby was my favorite, I always thought house elves would look so cute and sad and you really nailed that!
Also yes, you're troll was way better.
Yes
Absolutely obsessed with the sketches in this video! So good!!!
Apart from the title, this video is full of good stuff: your Dony and Orc are definitely much better than the movie, Murray killed it with the colors, and on a side plus, I wanna point out your have very beautiful handwritting. Loved it, please do more in the future!
*LOVE* the troll! (Personally, I think the movie version's face and ears was a subtle dig against Charles Winsor.)
Spectacular! What an awesome way to show what the ShapeLab program can do. Very, very impressed! TY!
I think the Voldemort that you drew looks a bit like golem from the Lord of the rings or it could be just me
I had the same thought
It’s precious!
I think the pose is the main reason.
I agree
the pose is definitely giving Golem, I wonder if it were a different pose if it'd come across a bit differently?
omgggg ive been watching jazza for so long and I started digital art due to animation videos & challenges, thank you jazza for inspiring so many people everyday….. love your videos so much🫶🏽
26:50 nightmare blunt rotation
Such a cool combination of drawing on parchment, intricate sculpting and painted miniatures, love it! 😍
Please do HP Lovecrafts creatures next ❤
Hey! I’m an Aussie 2, and I really luv ur videos, thank u for bringing Australia some fame! Could we get Percy Jackson characters next?
Make this a series thank you
I actually found all the harry potter dvds and fantastic beasts at the salvos on Wednesday and am looking forward to introducing my 9yo to this magical world.
She is a big fan of your channel too so i hope this video will create more of an interest in pop core fest for this weekend.
Thanks jazza, your timing is spit on.
23:38 more please
I love jazza shapelab videos, not only because it's so fun to see that process but also because you can just feel how much you genuinely radiate excitement and creative energy.
Could you do art made of wood, like a block of wood that's carved or chips stuck together or something pls also love the finished pieces
SO COOL!!! Holy christmas cookie! The sculpting is beautifully executed, and Murry's paint-jobs are outstanding! The Murry Method lends so well to Jazza's detailed models😍
More of this PLEASE!
Jazzy Flopper - The boy who rizzed!
I'd like to propose a challenge to Mr. Jazza: draw Brazilian monsters from their folclore books descriptions only! Ps: I'm in love with the series! Happy holidays!
These are really good.
One of the coolest videos from Jazza 2024! Merry Christmas!
2:00 I think you missed it. Scaly, flat and slimy is not the same as wrinkly, withered and skeletal. Snake-like not zombie-like.
5:37 gollum?
Seeing it printed at 6:30 I stand by my assertion
Exactly
That’s what I thought. I was also watching two towers right before.
Amazing sculpting Jazza. And I love how Murray paints. Would love more of these!
I feel a bit offended for Dobby. He is not a monster!
He's. A magical creature, they call magical beasts monsters.
Dobby doesn’t care. Master gave Dobby a sock, Dobby is on a beach. Dobby creates mojitos out of thin air. Dobby is happy. Thank you for thinking of Dobby, Dobby will remember this
He should have said magical creatures
I agree, that would have been a much better description of the hero Donny 😊
Heheey, Shapelab! Cool. I love VR so much, and VR sculpting is really getting to a point where it's actually awesome.
I don't care if this comment receives hate but it had to be said. Jazza probably won't read this though. Anyways. Not gonna watch the video (because you know why) or any other with Harry Potter content in it but the rest I will gladly as I did for years. Now take care everyone and have a great day!
Oh, shut up.
Love your take on Dobby!! Defo how he should have looked in the movies. You nailed it.
as much as i hate harry potter and everything jk rowling (not just because of political reasons, but the poor writing), i love your artwork
Your dumb
25:44 your troll was 100% better
Btw Murray is the goat!!🐐
I personally just wish you wouldn't promote HP since the author is a horrendous transphobe.
All of those turned out SO amazing! Freaking good job. And yeah, those are so much better than the movie depictions (although, I still love them all)
Really disappointing seeing Harry Potter stuff in the current climate, like have people just forgotten how big of a transphobe she is?
It really is the highest time to let it go.
my trans friend told me to tell you "boo-hoo stfu"
@@kl6960they're so poorly written too, i swear most people are only fans because of the fanbase and merch
@@Ganchanzilla I don't care she said peoples with pps should use mens restrooms. I enjoy the series. This is youtube, not twitter. Loosen up a little, people can enjoy things here
I am SO waiting for the next part of this. All of the designs look amazing and accurate but the troll is just perfection!
Damn. I just resubbed and there's instantly a harry potter video. Gross.
Yours is best all around! Thank you, well done! Also, Merry Christmas from the USA.
Pretty disappointing to see you doing jkr anything in 2024
Pretty disappointed that such amazing creativity has to contend with your negative commentary.
@@83Ironside People are allowed to have and express opinions, even when they disagree with your own.
Good thing you don't believe in suppressing people's feelings and beliefs.
You people really have a problem separating the art from the artist, don't you?
@@83Ironside I never said anything about his creativity or work, just that he's supporting JKR in 2024 which is disappointing lol
I would absolutely love to see more videos like this! It's so satisfying to see them go from sketch to model to 3D print!
Loved all of these sculpts! Murray's painting in general is awesome, but his version of Dobby's eyes are stunning!
I absolutely love the feel of these drawings on that kind of paper and with the type of pen
This whole video has been a great exhibition of virtual sculpting and 3D printing and if I had the means I would love to try this some day
Loved the video!! The passion and love for the art you make is contagious!
"The boy who rizzed" caught me so off guard i had to pause the video for laughing 😂
I want to see you do Dementors next! I’ve always found those soulless magical wraiths fascinating!
this kind of formate and build process would save/bring back table top tim time. have everyone work on parts of a story, then make and paint, then play the story, raffle viewer input and mini give aways, maybe build your own game. happy holidays.
Dobby is great!!, I love the details and how it turned out at the end! 😮
This was so sick!!!! I was mesmerized watching you sculpt them in 3D! You crushed it for sure. Please do more with the 3D sculpting and then printing/painting. It was so satisfying to see it come to life from concept to fully rendered product.
Merlin´s beard, that paintjob on the House Elf is absolutely flawless!
great idea for a video Jazza! I love the combo of traditional sketch turned into a 3D than into a print
Jazza this video was such a great watch !
Your videos always cheer me up and I wanted to thank you so much Jazza. Your videos inspire me a lot as an artist and I did show my husband your channel and he thought it was so cool. Merry Christmas, and Happy holidays everyone here celebrates. Much peace and love to all :)
Yours are all far superior to the movie. Incredible work and the paint job is awesome.
Your designs are awesome and IMO, much better than the ones in the movies!
Great job!
17:25 even that wizard silhouette looks good
As always, your talent is phenomenal!
So fun to see you back at the vr sculpting 💜
Big shoutout to Murray 💜
This was amazing, Jazza! Would love to see more
When you said it feels like a pillow case, I was like "Well Dobby does wear a pillow case"
More videos like this, loved the whole process!
