The Clan... thirty-three years ago, I discovered this band with the masterpiece ''Medusa'' served by incredibly talented musicians (Ronny Moorings, Anke Wolbert, and Pieter Nooten) and initiated a love story that never stopped. Every new album is a special event. The Clan's sound has changed, transformed from cold wave to electro-goth but remains unique, with Ronny's voice immediately recognizable. In this respect, ''Loneliness'' is the typical Clan of Xymox s melodic gem. God bless you, Ronny (and Mojca), and kudos for ''Limbo,'' another gem I discovered yesterday.

i saw them in dallas tx in march. i had been waiting for a US tour for over 20 years... i flew to dallas JUST to catch their concert, and we had our Medusa Vinyl signed. amazing night.

This is one my favorite songs now. When I saw Xymox perform this song live I feel in love with it! It's on my daily play list from on.
Amazing song. I love Clan of Xymox and I can't believe this one slipped under my radar. The video itself is sad and gut wrenching, but it really fits the song. The lyrics speak for all three of the characters, but you obviously have the most sympathy for the daughter.
I've had this song in my head for a week straight.

Almost 20 years ago I met them at a small goth club. They were really nice. I'm not a serious goth fan but this band always sounded so beautiful to me.

I get it excellent what do You mean although I'm not any Goth or anything similar... However I like some kind of these stuff from time to time. Bands like The Cure, Joy Division, Bauhaus, Clan Of Xymox, Dead Can Dance or Depeche Mode are very close to my heart thanks to our outstanding Polish music journalist - Tomasz Beksinski who presented this music in a radio...

you must then check out the band "She past away" they are from Turkey and have that legendary 80's look, and sound, amazing stuff.
I usually don't care for using comments to promote other bands, but here I have to agree. She Past Away is cool af. Their track Soluk starts like the intro to "she's in party's" then dives right in to their own unique sound. The vocals set them apart from all others.
