Correction- So you can turn the guard about 90 degrees, I only tried to turn it away from me, but it pulls down instead to turn it. Thanks everyone for letting me know!
You don't want to stand the tool up because there is a risk you knock it down, so it is meant to be left on its side which is good practice for setting down tools
yeah they also do this for full size grinders

Wish they had came out a couple years ago would not have a Milwaukee in my box.
Bosch had their own out more than 2 years ago too.

afterthought tool with 2x the price of everybody else.
