Ren has great lyricism. NAS was a leader of his time originally. When 'Halftime' came out it was game changing. Others who later became more famous, followed his lead and changed up their rap. Most are now dead, NAS is still alive and putting out music that is top notch. Ren, if he were mainstream and signed to a label, would be top of the game. He is an independent and as such will not get the adulation of millions. However, he has over a million subscribers, aka Renegades, who love him very much. He can do anything.
