As the sun rose over the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Monday morning and EDC 2012 came to a close, we felt such gratitude and appreciation to our fans for helping turn this festival into a reality. Without your continued support it would not be possible.
Thank you to everyone who was a part of this amazing event and a big thank you to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the City of Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Clark County, as well as their respective agencies, for embracing and supporting us.
A special thank you to Markus Shulz and Steve Aoki for staying at the Speedway on Saturday and keeping the party going all the way until dawn. Perhaps most importantly, the energy and overall vibe brought by the fans on Sunday night was unbelievable.
Please know that you have our absolute and unwavering commitment to improve your experience in every way possible. Our goal is, always has been and always will be, to deliver you the greatest experience of your life!

8 years later and I still find myself randomly deciding to reminisce on this video. This was my first EDC I went to and was one of the most amazing and life changing weekends of my life, regardless of the wind problems closing down the park on Saturday and I’m so happy I got to experience such a beautiful weekend. I can remember watching this post EDC video so many times when I was about 22 and even listening to it now brings back soooo much feels and memories. This weekend was so beautiful and I met so many amazing people, this was the turning point to my depression and self hatred and I began to live life again after this weekend and start accepting myself. I wouldn’t trade anything about this weekend did anything in the universe..

This was my first EDC and three years later I still get chills. It was a life changing experience and made friends that I still talk to. I remember how they shut down on Saturday during Calvin Harris and instead of people being livid everyone rejoiced and danced and was just so happy! PLUR! On the road to EDC 2016!

I haven never fallen in love so many times in one weekend before in my life! I fell in love w the music and with the lights and DJs and the atmosphere... but most importantly I fell in love with the people. I will never EVER forget all of the amazing, amazing friends I made during EDC this year. I am seriously sad not being there! Wouldn't miss EDC2013 for the world
2018 and I remember it like yesterday! RIP AVICCI!! When they shut down on Saturday he was due to play and never got to see him cuz of the wind! Such a beautiful time . I was junior in high school but 18. Thank u all . Met so many people here at this beautiful experience

11 years later. I always came back to dream about going to EDC but I never could affort it. Id always say next year ill make it. now in no longer young so its a reminder to put all your effort into making it happen before time slips by without you noticing.
It's been 2 years and this one still gets me every single time I watch it. I hope they make an after trailer for this year's EDC, too!

Truly amazing time! Highlight was when the windstorm ended the big stages and Markus Schulz started DJ'ing from the bus. MAGICAL!
EDC. The best thing to ever happen to me. EDC made me the happiest girl in the world. Miss it so much.
And to think I was there, one of the best experiences of my life. EDC is a place to fall in love, let it be with music or even with yourself. This was a place to let go and just be you. I left my heart at the EDC, till next year :)

3:08-4:50 gives me so many feels still. I remember watching this trailer post edc that year, I was 22 and this was second EDC, I was getting so choked up.This truly captured what the dance music scene was around this time. I met so many amazing people through dance music and it’s memories of my early 20s that I will never forget. I had stopped going in 2015 and I am finally going back this year.

I've been spending the past three weeks trying not to spend every minute thinking about the most mdmazing week of my life in Vegas 2012
This many years later and still one of my favorite memories.
I feel like edc is our lil piece of heaven on earth... No worries, no racism, no discrimination. None of that stuff exists in there. Happiness n unity is all over the place!
What makes large gatherings like EDC work so well is that everyone adheres to the principles of peace, love, unity and respect (PLUR). As every year EDC grows larger and EDM becomes a larger component of pop culture, I hope and pray that the core of the culture which is rooted in love for one another and in a passion for creativity and self-expression grows with it. Props to Insomniac for understanding that and promoting it!

It is my absolute dream to go to EDC some day. You guys have no idea how many times I have watched your videos and every time I do... I cry. I cry because I see all these people sharing their passion for EDM under the night sky; like a true family, a family I have never had. One day, my poor ass will hopefully be able to save up enough money to be apart of the family that Insomniac had united. OMFG!!!! I'M AT 5:28!!! Hahaha
I miss it already. First time ever going to ANYTHING related to EDM/ massives/ "raves"... ANYTHING and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Sure, Saturday was unfortunate, but it was for our safety and Sunday was PHENOMENAL. Thank you, folks at Insomniac and here's to next year!
