The main issue with all these videos coming out on this channel is the key consideration of what happens with your data after you 'plug it in'. Any serious work is typically not allowed to be shared just as is, so a short sentence on what the policies are for each tool could avoid a lot of trouble for anyone just blindly uploading highly sensitive stuff.

    1) Could you give an example of how to use UNTOOLS productively?
    2) Nano Letters Style (MYBIB) - I do not understand its purpose clearly. And what do you mean by reformatting the style?

Thanks Dr. Andy! Wow, Untools looks great. I'm in the dissertation proposal stage, waiting for my committee to approve. My conceptual model diagram just needs finesse because I used Draw in Google Docs, which was not a good idea. I'll check these out!

This is awesome. Here's hoping sooner or later more of us can skip the huge tax in time and money that we call a higher education system. Just go straight to learning from and contributing to these communities of interest where the real action is. That would be so much more efficient, and so much more meaningful. The first society to transition to such a modus operandi will have a huge advantage.

hi Andy , its really pleasure watching you lovely content , I have subscribed to PaperPal after i watched your video , I have observed several advantages and disadvantages worth summarizing. One of the most frustrating aspects is that when using citation software like Mendeley or RefWorks, the suggestions provided by PaperPal often result in the disappearance of the existing citation, which is highly inconvenient. Additionally, the suggestions from PaperPal appear in separate windows rather than within the Word document itself, causing further inconvenience. Furthermore, the constant synchronization process of PaperPal consumes a significant amount of time. Given these shortcomings, I do not recommend purchasing PaperPal at its current stage, as there is a need for substantial product development.

In a next video, you can review the Qiqqa reference manager. I found this app very useful during my PhD studies. I think it is better than Zotero or Mendeley. It integrates very easily with Word, automatically reorders the references as you move them through the text, you have a local database of your resources, and many other tools. It is in a phase of underdevelopment but I found it very useful.
