Will the bushing be able to handle the repetitive micro sliding(on the spacer) in the long run? Wont there be integrity issue with bronze bushing being worn or dented having it get stuck on the axlespacer?

Good day and thanks for the interest. That's the entire idea of a bushing. Would you rather replace the entire bracket or a $15 bushing. I think you are thinking about this a bit too hard. If the bracket is trapped when mounted the bushing takes very little abuse as there is virtually no movement between the axle and bushing. If you have a floating set up, the bushing will last for tens of thousands of miles before it needs to be replaced. Nothing is rotating between the spacer and bushing and the little movement that does occur is so minimal, it's almost negligible. Thanks for reaching out and hit us up if you have any more questions. Cheers!

Can I send my 3/4" caliper bracket back and get the 1 inch caliper bracket and then I would have room for a spacer so I can have room for the spacer? Do you sell the spacers?

Hey Donald, yes, you can send your caliper bracket back. We'll press out the 3/4" bushing and press in a 1" bushing. As for the spacer, I can certainly machine you a spacer that will work with your 3/4" axle and the 1" bushing. I would just need an exact measurement for the length or I can make it long for you to cut. Please give us a call @ 484-652-8010 or you can email us at sales@billetproofdesign.com. Anyhow, thanks for the support, we'll get you on the road in no time. Cheers.

I bought one of your caliper brackets.
It had a bronze bushing. The hole was 3/4 inch diameter.
When the axle nut is tightened down the caliper bracket will not move.
    Your video makes no sense.

Thanks for watching our video Donald. The video makes perfect sense. You may have not heard parts of it that explain what you are questioning. If you're using our hanger with the 3/4" bushing and you are using the appropriate spacers, of course it's not going to move when your axle nut is tightened. You're trapping that hanger in between everything. The only thing that's going to move is the wheel. I like to install this part so it floats on a machined spacer. This requires you to use a bushing with a 1" ID and make a spacer that goes from axle plate to bearing. The spacer would be undersized to 0.995" which would allow our hanger to 'float' on the bushing. If you're still confused, please give us a call and I will explain everything to you over the phone. Our contact info can be found on our website.

I am not a machinist and do not have a way to make these parts.
Can I send you the caliper bracket back and have you fix it.
I thought it was ready to use when I purchased it. I did not know it needed machining.
