You know, your videos are very useful. I managed to figure out I don't need the mi 10 pro because in the end I just wanted the 108 mp camera and the Mi note 10 pro I got, does it's job beautifully. I don't game I don't care about marginal speed differences and 4k video, and they both stutter in video mode anyway. So thanks for the comparisons.

Could you consider (in future video tests) checking for the other king of stutter that is independent of panning? It is often more annoying. The easiest way to detect it is filming smoothly moving cars from some distance.

I've noticed in your comparison video that MI 10 is running never software than MI 10 PRO. :) 11.0.3 (MI 10 PRO) vs 11.0.5 (MI 10) I believe. Also DXOMark mentioned that they were using pre-release software which will be available in March in their review. :)

I have one question and i can't realise it !
My friend has iPhone 8+ (im not buying it) and the portrait shots are 2x.
Is that with androids who has 2x telephoto lenses or they can shoot portrait in 1x mode ?
I know with in-depth sens sensor it blurs background from 1x but it cant compeete with Telephoto.

Hi Chris. Sorry if this might be a rookie question, but why does it look like the tents and people are leaning over towards the right, on the ultrawide image at 3:57 with the boat? I know this is normal with ultrawide, but, I can not seem to find these kinds of images.. attractive, or even usable. It looks like everything is taller and falling over, and it feels like a waste of a camera if you buy the phone mainly for taking pictures (Until now I have avoided ultrawide because of this, and still rolling my Xiaomi mi 8 with gcam). Are there any ways around this, or is this just a characteristic attribute due to the type of lens?
I really like the front camera on the Mi 10. Kind of underexposed on the face but at least it let's me notice what's behind me without blowing it out.
That's because the software on the Mi 10 is newer than the one on the Mi 10 pro

Cameras not worth the upgrade no. Unless you game a lot or need the SD865 power I wouldn't bother.

I love the shots made with the mi 10, but it sucks that it lacks zoom. In the other case, it sucks that the mi 10 pro has no macro lens. So my question is.. Is the macro mode on the mi 10 pro far worse than the mi 10? I would like, for example, focus my fingertips. And has the mi 10 pro the same zoom as the mi note 10 Series except for the lite version?

what you said at the end "if you dont plan to use the cameras that much ... " i mean by that logic i probably wouldnt really be in the market for one of these anyway tbh. if i would want to save money i think smartphones like the realme x2 pro have plenty of performance and a way better value proposition. the mi10 has a great camera, but the mi10 pro with the extra zoom length might justify the extra money for me personally. the extra flexibility makes it so good for traveling imo. we are reaching a point where its viable to travel without an extra camera in the backpack and still get "proper" images in most situations without sacraficing to much. i really think thats where the zoom smartphones really shine. (still depends on the price when it finally reaches the european market)

Which one is better in selfie?
Audio isn't the same on both! Mi 10 Pro sounds louder and the sound source is finally in the middle where it belongs. Mi 10 sounds quieter and the sound is coming more from the sides rather than from dead center, also there's less low-mid frequencies, taking away the foundation from the voice. I'd say for blog videos Mi 10 Pro definitely has better audio. The question is, is there no stabilization even in 1080p on the front facing camera?

With the price tag I... really don't know... In like 2-3 months you will have the S20 at about the same price or even lower (I mean 2-3 months after the S20 got release). The Mi10 is half the price of the Pro here which is a big problem...

I think software is now far more important than hardware, can't seem anyone being able to compete with google and apple for next few years.
@@TedThomasTT its still not out for global market. As per what I have noticed the global version are much better optimised to everyone's taste. Colours are more natural that chinese version.

Sure is it's very commy on Xiaomi phones more than others. Just some optimisation is required to fix it

Mas nas lentes principais o 10 Pro é muito melhor, e sem falar que a xiaomi vai lá e lança umas 2 ou 3 atualizações e melhora a câmera selfie do Mi10 pro.
Mas agora em custo benefício, o mi10 é mais barato, tem mais 4% a mais de bateria do que o seu irmão ( que daria mais ou menos umas 8 á 8:30 de tela bem otimizado) uns 20 á 30 min a mais longe da tomada, e o preço do Mi10 é 2 R$ mil mais barato daí vc tá certo

The biggest downside of the Pro is the blue color is pale.. Not looks premium phone from Xiaomi.. Better the color of its vanila version..

i have note 10, which isnt that different, to be honest, at the beginning i was quite astonished with camera quality as i had s9+ previously ( which had good quality as well). but... but later video quality is really not constant, iphone is way better. photo quality is good but pixel and huwaei is still better. thats why i don't care about numbers anymore, SW is really everything. till mi brings on a hell of a goos dsp team, dont buy it for the 108 megapixel.

from all ive seen in the past weeks I don't think that buying the mi 10 pro is a huge step from the regular mi 10 and for me thats good unlike other phones with pro and regular versions they too far apart I like that Xiaomi only put a few differences between this two models most of them are mostly firmware and software which can easily be in updates anyway this my opinion.

I think they have made mi10 camera software not very good on purpose..
99% of the time you will be happy with the xiaomi mi 10, this pro thing is so bullshit, we just need a good camera, who doesn t dissapoint u, that s it, i have a huawei p30, not the pro version, i was never dissapointed by its camera. (i ve had samsung and maybbe that s why i believe is so good now=))
