One simple thing that makes this a good replacement is the location of where the wires come out some of the servos come with the wires coming from the front & the TRXM model has the servo wires coming from the top so it doesn’t interfere with the suspension movement. You definitely have to do some homework to get a servo that fits so this makes it easier to upgrade without having to modify stuff.
Been waiting for these since I heard about them! I had one of the original 827s and it was great for the price. Although it has a strange spline and finding a metal horn is difficult. Since it is rated for 8.4v, it currently lives as the shift servo in my FCX24 because my BEC is set to 8.4v for the RS100 steering servo.
Man, they ALMOST nailed this design perfectly. No side tabs to get caught on the frame rails-check, rear exit cable (again, frame clearance)-check. BUT, there is no adjustability in the servo position forward or backward in the diff. Mofos Best Servo Mount Ever offers that adjustability (that most have copied now.) I find that bit of positioning, fine tuning if you will, is needed more often than not on custom builds. As well as when adjusting caster. -otherwise I like the design…
It's pretty cool that it's got the mount built into it but like is it going to fit all axle housings as far as scx24 and not just that but I love my mofo Servo mount
Torq just released the MLS servo. These are an exact copy of them. The aluminum torq servo is cheaper ($45), faster (0.06) and stronger (14.5kg). They are for sale as we speak. And shipping today.
Our servo is an original idea and design that was modeled in 3D CAD and developed by our engineer. It is not a copy of any other product on the market.
@@rcdriver it is really convenient these come with the case and horn made for the scx24. But I feel axial should’ve upped their game with the last “updates” to the platform. The same tiny tiny motor compared to its competitors and a couple other durability issues.
It’s crazy to see the Torq MLS servo design shown off on another servo before it’s even released. These companies producing stuff for 1/24s are just laughable at this point 😆

@@EcoPowerRC glad to hear it was your design! I don’t have a dog in the fight. Just knew I’d seen the Torq MLS long ago. You guys should really be working on the same style servo for the new fcx24m. Its a great truck and would barely require any mod to this servo to fit. Love to chat about what you guys have planned sometime if you have the time 🤷🏻♂️
These are not a perfect fit for the Deadbolt because of its short upper link. It will technically fit, but up-travel will be limited because of clearance issues.
😎 EcoPower has big plans to Power the Fun of your hobby! Awesome video as always
Will this be for sale on Amazon?
I've been using the ecopower forever in my SCX24s. This mount is pretty brilliant.
These look great. Definitley going to pick one up and try it out. Thanks!

Will definitely try one , cool they have mounts built in
I just burned out my stock servos on my ax24 so thanks for this video these servos are a definite good option 🤘✌️

That F/R adjustability would have made it work fine on the DB😊
Great video! They should have done this year's ago! Now that's really nice way to clean up front axle!

What would you say is the best motor for towing stuff like a trailer?
Why no love for upgrading the Deadbolt?
Eco Power knew which way this servo will be mounted so what’s with the sideways label on the front?
I've been wanting to upgrade a scx24, just not jumped in to one to do it.
Just in time for the new axial SCX24 color release!
Kinda upset they did not include the deadbolt. Do you know why it does not drop in out of curiosity? Thanks in advance brother
So it technically fits… But the Deadbolt has a shorter front link set. So on up-travel the servo hits the ESC plate.
You could put on longer links up front 😊
@@rcdriver thank you
@jimbo4203 good point still using that stock servo, it is not good lol
@@jeremymiller2340 I've been using a Emax servo in mine for a few months and it's been working really good for cheap too
This is good news!
But can you still run the 4 link in the front with those?
What's the deadbolt solution then??
Move the esc plate. It fits the axle. Just hits the plate due to the short links 🤘🏼
@@2fmrc aahhh ok 👍🏼 👍🏼
So does the servo horn work on a regular size servo or just that size? Just wondering cuz I don't have that type of truck
Hi, I love your content. How do you film while driving?
Drive with one hand, camera in the other.
Hmmmm I'm gonna have to try the eco one out...

I'd like to see you tear both of the servos down and swap the guys out ken 🤣 they look identical to me
The NSDRC rs100 is the best actually at 197oz/in and .06 speeds. This eco one looks like another ok budget option.
That’s why there’s a “?” in the title. Everyone gets to decide what’s best for their own use. Options are great!

Emax for me $8 lol
Brilliant 👏 😊
I didn't know AMain Hobbies made upgrade parts
Yup, they have Protek RC and Upgrade RC too.
Great info
Nice

I was about to buy it, but then saw the script at the bottom of your video saying it doesn't fit the Deadbolt. What's up with that? 😅

I wish l could use it on my deadbolt 😢
Wish they would have come out with this in the beginning. All of those pretty servo mounts are now going to be useless.
I need
GO Any Where, Go Axial
A steering servo for 20bucks what a deal
The 827 (older model) i tried was one of the worst servos ive had in 30+ years of rc. I'll pass.
What did you not like about?
