Saw the shirt, immediate thumbs up! Sadly, I tried my first onewheel today and I was terrified! I stopped after about 10mins in a hallway. I told the person selling it that I don’t think I’m ready. But now I’m having doubts. A part of me wants to just get it and commit to learning it. Thanks for all your videos on the OW.
LPT: for winter riding put your gloves on under your wrist guards! Then when you take them off just take the glove off, wrist guard remains over the glove as a one piece assembly. QOL improvement.
I bought the HWK Motorcycle Jacket off Ebay with Tax $50. I like the Idea of Rain and Winter. You made me think, Which Jacket do I have right now that I would not mind getting Shredded in a Onewheel wreck? I said None. So I bought one. Plus, if you wear a Jacket in the Winter would it be a Pain to put on your Safety gear over it, or Jacket over your safety gear. Good Idea Jimmy.
I just got an XR and i love it. Was pushing speed on 10% battery and had it nosedive, i learned my lesson lol. Fangs are ordered. Will keep close watch on speed and battery now for sure. Also ordred a tool kit, charger plug, utility night shark fender, and grip tape cleaner. A little mishap wont hold me back.. im still in love with this thing and will continue to shred!
The $50 HWK jacket also has matching pants that are tough, comfortable, and keep me warm riding in the winter. The pants have hip and knee pads and can be connected to the jacket.
I love the mid life crisis shirt. I bought my pint a few months ago and have 150 miles on it so far. Definitely the best mid life crisis I'll ever have.
Happy belated birthday Jimmy! Your daughter is great! You gotta love the reflectiveness of those Lazyrolling jackets. I find motorcycle jackets to be better purchases for the money. I do ride with a bunch of folks rocking the Lazyrolling ones. I just got a Hero 9 for my quadcopter flying sessions.
I absolutely love your videos! These top ten ones are my fav. Quick question if you see this: I am headed to Frisco CO for three months during the winter and was wondering if you think a onewheel is worth it out there during the winter. Thanks!
Ok Jimmy i’ve been lusting after a Onewheel for a long time I haven’t pulled the trigger yet because I am 70 years old I’ve been rollerskating and I have a good balance but just a little afraid that I might eat it big time
So I love the flex meter wrist guards and I have been using them with the armored hoodie currently, and wear a thin pair of glove liners underneath for the cold. In the summer.I wear a d30 motorcycle jacket which serves me really well. I like the leatt knee guards but they are hard to put on and slide around a lot, so I have been using the arc Terryx knee pads and they are wonderful. Cool video, and I think i will check out he back rollers.
Does your shirt say live your best midlife? Haha that is awesome. My wife and kids thought I was nuts when my EUC showed up and I almost killed myself learning how to ride. But now, it’s our weekend most weekends!
I finally got a Pint for Christmas, and so far I have almost 200 miles on it and am pretty much on it every free second of the day unless it's charging. It couldn't be more worth it so far and has completely changed my lifestyle. The only down side is that it makes everything else seem 5 times more boring.
Hey Jimmy, I ordered Chirp wheel after reading your review. I meant to use your affiliate link, but i might have reopened the page outside your link, can you tell if you got credit from them?
Love the floor mat and wall mount. For potential riders - FM accessories are stolen from the community after trying to stop the communuty. They are poor quality and over priced too
I just got my paycheck a week or two ago and I now have enough money to buy myself the pint and have a few hundred dollars left over! I’m still going to wait a little longer and make a little more money before buying myself one though. I can’t wait😁
Apologies as I didn’t read through all of the comments to see if this has already been answered but you mention that the wrist guards are not your choice for winter riding. I’m looking for a winter solution and wondering what you do use.
Thank you for the Video, discovered you videos about 3 weeks ago. Can you do another video about what you think is next for Onewheel in 2021? (Maybe what you would love to see in a updated XR) While I don’t have one yet. I think they have a chance to make updated XR (V4) with longer range and maybe a bit faster. Start that at $1799 then reduce the price of the XR and make it $1399. Pint $950 XR $1399 V4 $1799
