Polaroid Go

My thoughts on one of the new offerings from everyone's favourite instant film company, Polaroid.
Sorry about some shaky footage, the windy was nuts when I was trying to shoot this.

I love the Polaroid Go. It’s an addition to my SLR680, Impulse AF and Onstep+. The Go is most used on daytrips to places I visited already many times before. There’s always an opportunity to take a photo, places change frequent. I like it is light and small. The exposures are really good and the black frames are gorgeous. I’ve used the Go a lot in 2021 but last year we had a very hot summer and the temperature sensivity is something Polaroid should improve on all of their films, that would result in much more use of my Polaroid cameras. I’m waiting for the spring season so I can start shooting Polaroid instead of one of the instax based instant cameras.

I love how incredibly portable this camera is. I just throw it inside my backpack or my jacket pocket and take a shot whenever I see one. It’s not the most consistent camera to shoot with, but I love it regardless. Heck, I almost completed a whole photo album of shots I’ve taken with it.
I’m hoping Polaroid releases a Plus version with improvements to the camera so that this medium doesn’t die out.

Glad to hear you’re getting lots of use out of it!! Mine only comes out rarely these days. I’m sure Polaroid will release a follow up/updated version! At least I hope so :)
