Used it for the first time. It also worked well with the noisy/lazy/naughty/weak students because suddenly the other students were having fun and they weren't. If they don't look, listen or concentrate, game over sit down. Awesome.
Yeah that's a good point, with really large classes this game probably wouldn't be advisable. However, you could try mixing it up by having the loser at paper, scissor, stone's team ask the question instead of just 1 student. I would also try using the game as a treat now and again and not make it a constant in your lesson plans. Anyway, hope you enjoyed it!
@@AndyTheESLGuy Yes they want teachers to follow that coursewarequite strictly and was looking for some fun activities to compliment the materials. Thanks for the tips ps. I'm Scottish too :)

....if the sticky ball student hits the inside circle he can make the opposition team member say the word/sentence, like a punishment, if said wrong, you earn the star/point...lol
@@AndyTheESLGuy ...and if the opposition team member said right, you still get the point because you hit the inside circle, no win, win for the opposition.....lol.
So the guy who lost in rock siccosrs paper at the beginning doesn't get to through the ball? You raise a kid from a chair only to lose and not throw the ball? I guess they should at least switch throwing the ball and asking and answering questions.... It's cruel to raise a student from their chair and not let throw the ball at all...
If you have a smaller class I would definitely allow all students a chance to throw the ball, for larger classes tho it takes up too much time. You can definitely change the rules to make it more suitable to your class tho :-)
@@AndyTheESLGuy thanks for your response. You're definitely right - the size does matter. Yep, changed it a bit for a small class - worked like a charm. Thanks, I have subscribed!

Awesome, thank you so much!

Fun intro! Thanks for your video.
Yeah was just having a bit of fun! Haha
Seems fun but I think it would take a long time even with a set of 15 students. If students are missing early they aren't saying the vocab either.
