I've been saying this all along now - zoom classes are like channeling - "Hello, is there anybody out there? Brad, can you hear us? Can you say something please? Brad? Are you there?" 🤦‍♀️ so funny at first, but then got upsetting and irritating... Not motivating at all - speaking from the "today's a bad day" teacher's perspective 😁

'Find something' is a good game - and I've also played something like this combined with Kim's Game. Six students find something of the particular colour or whatever, and then you put them in a breakout room (if you're using Zoom) to see how many of the things they saw they can remember.

Thanks!! I have 3 zoom in games on my channel and a Christmas video that's similar. You just play the video and have your students guess in English what they can see. If they don't know the word they can do actions or try and describe it. Hope that helps 😁

I just have them say A or B. If they get it correct you can award points. I'll have new videos on games uploaded soon. You can also check out video on my top 5 warm up games for online teaching.

Haha! Yeah, it's not easy keeping them entertained for that long! I think 30 minutes is a much better time....I hate 1 hour with the 3 and 4 year olds!! Do you live in China as well yeah?
