Another tip!: If the masking tape keeps tearing the paper, tear it in a 90° angle and be careful. Do it slowly. Another one is putting the masking tape on your clothes before using it so that it won't be super sticky. Hope this helps ^_^
Those are some great tips, also don't leave your drinking cup by your watercoplour water cup, lol. I have made that mistake a few times. Arty is soooo cute, I am definitely more like Arty when I work.

I have been waiting for this video ever since you told me you were planning it! I am glad that you made this video because ever since i got my professional watercolors my art with watercolor has been getting worse, atleast i think so. I am looking out for the next video more because i do have experience with watercolors but i just need to learn more. I think i should let the paint dry before using more paint but i am too lazy and the art suffers because of that. The video was quite funny actually 😂 great video as always! And danke for the tips :)

Junifarben Illustration this is why i don't do watercolors as much anymore. I have fallen in love with copics and alcohol based markers. And i am doing the sketchbook slam challenge! My goal is to finish the sketchbook in less than one or two months. So far i have filled 12 pages out of 120. Well i am doing it on both sides so it has 240 pages ;-; It's gonna be stressful.

Some more tips: rub the masking tape on you pants bit to make it less stick so it won't rip the paper you can also use a dry paint brush to pick up excess water from places so it doesn't stain or bleed into other colors
Somehow I now hate my art teachers for always forcing us to draw with watercolours while everythin we had where those classic cheap A3 childrens painting blocks. It was so annoying and decouraging .
I know what you mean! I haven't touched any watercolors in 13 years of art in school XD Now it is my favourite medium! We did just boring collages over 3 months or we had to use really bad paints ^^" It's really sad that students often don't get in touch with art supplies that are fun to use :-/

What I do with my masking tape is to stick it to my shirt a couple times until it's not as sticky and no water gets under it
