It’s probably a go fast bit diverter valve, a pain to install but worth it
I was thinking it sounded different, but then saw you had the Dinan cat back, and not the AWE. The AWE def sounds a little better imo.

Not sure if he responded to you or not (and I don't have it on my f30 335i yet) but I really like it on my e46 m3. Unfortunately it's a little higher pitched on my e46 M3 than I like but by the sounds of this one, it sounds a lot better with the N54. Just my 2 cents.

hey man loved the sound of your car so i went the same route. vrsf catless awe mid and dinan axle. having a little bit of sound issues even at 1k rpm,tbh it sounds like an mustang. i’m thinking i have a exhaust leak. did u get everything welded together, from the video i see the axle and mid is welded. i did use the clamps it came with. thanks in advance
gary ng the awe midpipe and dinan axleback will require some welding fab to be perfect

Hey bud. I’m FBO with MPPK exhaust, VRSF catless DP, MPPK Intake, VRSF CP, Active FMIC, and BM3 E30 Stage 2 tune. I wanted to either get my resonator deleted or grab that same midpipe. I see you’re in NY, can you recommend your shop?
It is only dinan exhaust or you got any pipe ? Downpipe midpipe , map ? I am looking for bmw f30 335i 2014 with dinan exhaust and idk what i must install to get the same sound

Does having a catless downpipe increase the sound a lot? All I have is the borla atak for my 335i. Will a downpipe increase regular acceleration sound or only WOT and cold starts?
It increases the sound a lot. Also increases power by a small amount, but it is definitely noticeable. Car revs much quicker.

Sounds awful, reminds me of when I was a kid and blew a hole in the muffler of my 72 Cutlass with 350 Rocket. It also sounded like it was misfiring and something was wrong with it. No idea how people think this sounds good, in particular with the higher pitch a six cylinder makes - at least with the V8 you got that low rumble, which isn't happening here. I get it's purely personal taste, but my gawd is that sound just obnoxious. Low rumble = great, high pitched popping like your engine is misfiring = bad.
