The Cosmere books by Brandon Sanderson are a must! It got me back into reading and enjoying stories since I was in elementary and middle school reading Percy Jackson. There are several reading orders since all of the books under the Cosmere are different series but it's like Phase 1 and 2 of MCU. I'm still reading the books but started with The Way of Kings. The books are massive and seems daunting to get through but once you start you will not one to stop. I also haven't audibly gasped from reading like ever. Primo fantasy right there with The Way if Kings
Kennedy Ryan is that girl, read before I let go and went into this could be us without even liking the Soledad character in the first book, no regrets whatsoever.

You are going to enjoy reading Harry Potter. The series came out when I was in my 20s and I could not understand the hype. Fast forward 20 years later when I finally read them, I then understood. I enjoyed the first few movies better than the later years but I think it’s because it reminds me of being a child and believing in magic without the heaviness.
I must admit that is one nice Harry Potter collection!! I adore the series [definitely read the books before the movies, it will make more sense since a lot of stuff is unable to be adapted into the movie],..it is was got me really REALLY into reading. Love it so much I read it multiple times in different languages. One thing though....I don't really buy "new books" anymore. Most of the physical books I buy are secondhand or from flea markets...I spend less...i often get more and local shops are happy to see me....everybody wins!!
I just finished the Harry Potter series, my first time ever reading them and I’m kinda sad I missed out as a kid, but as an adult it’s stuff I can see better. Your definitely gonna love it.
I just found out (literally yesterday!) that one of our grocery chains has books that are discounted by at least 10$ if you have a membership card (which I do). It was very dangerous knowledge to have gained! 😅

I LOVE HARRY POTTER!!! I was never interested in Harry Potter, but I watched the movies for the first time as an adult just for the fun of it and that turned into an obsession. Ended up getting all of the books cause everyone said the books are better. I also read bride and loved it
Love your energy and great video. I primarily read fantasy, sci-fi, horror, and then some non-fiction. I've got some suggestions for fantasy for you though below if Dresdyou're looking for something. 1. Dresden Files by Jim Butcher - This is the one I recommend the most to people, its Urban Fantasy and just action packed. Its a wizard that's a private investigator, and there are currently 18 books out of the series and I think the plan is to have 25, but don't worry even though things carry through from book to book, each book is kind of an individual story around Harry Dresden so its not like you have to read all 18, you'd enjoy it from the beginning 2. Hellequin Chronicles by Steve McHugh - this is another Urban Fantasy about a Sorcerer that used to be Merlins Assassin, in this book Sorcerers live for hundreds of years. This is another great action packed series, highly recommend! 3. Brandon Sanderson all his books are great but I always tell people to start with the Mistborn Trilogy Era 1, first book is called The Final Empire or some editions are just called Mistborn. His books are probably more classic fantasy types. One thing cool about Sanderson is that he's building all his different series and single volume fantasy into a huge universe he calls The Cosmere. So think like how Marvel and the MCU works. Right now you can read everything separate and there are some minor crossovers that you might catch but eventually down the road everything will start to come together and there will be tons of crossovers. So if you get into Sanderson there are tons of things to read One more suggestion that's Sci-Fi, but is hands down one of my favorite series is Red Rising Saga by Pierce Brown, first book is Red Rising, just check out the summary for it because this series is so incredibly good. I'd say the first 3 books, the original trilogy are possibly some of my favorite books ever. The second part of the series (books 4-7) is a bit different but still really good. Highly recommend this series! Keep the vids coming man, and I hope some of my suggestions help you find some new stuff to check out!
If you're looking to get into fantasy, here are some really good ones I've read! - The Tainted Cup by Robert Jackson Bennett. First five star book I read this year (out of like 40 books lol I've read a lot of misses) and it's actually more murder mystery in the plot structure but in a fantasy world! I could not put it down! - Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir. Laugh-out-loud funny about necromancers in space. It's my favourite book of all time and I do not say that lightly. - Jade City by Fonda Lee. Urban fantasy (but not set in our world) that's all about two gangster families fighting over control of the city they life in. The magic is super cool, basically the amount of jade jewelry you wear the more magic fighting powers you get.
Wow! Excellent choices! Definitely read the HP books before watching the movies. Loved Evelyn Hugo, A Court of Thorns and Roses, and Where the Crawdads Sing. Would love to head your reaction.

This man said drizzle drizzle noooooooo 😭😭😭🤦🏾♀️😩
I'm writing down all these books in my book journal! Awesome video! I still need to read the Harry Potter and I want to read twilight series too
I must admit that is one nice Harry Potter collection!!
😂 pulled out them buffers and whole vibe changed…. Blaaaaaa love it lol. New to Harry too! Read first, don’t make the mistake I made lol
CONGRATS ON the move for work. hopefully it was a positive thing. proud of you
Good luck with the new job and hope you settle in quickly!
Going for groceries and coming out with a book haul sounds normal to me, with this, i am a new subscriber as i can relate .🙂
Before I let go ...talk about beautiful covers...and had me emotional lol need to read it asap
you got sooo many good books. I'm excited for you to read harry potter, it's one of my favorites!
Glad you seem so happy about your new hobby! Your enthusiasm is infectious 😊
Been reading the books for the first time and watching the movies after each book. I never got into them before but I'm enjoying them a lot so far! Just finished book Goblet of Fire, it's my favorite so far!
Best of luck to you in your new digs! I'll miss your ATL based content (GA resident checking in here).
Love that you are a cover junkie. Can't wait to hear what you think of the Harry Potter series - as well as all the other books you picked up in your haul.
Going to Walmart for groceries and leaving with books? Definitely a bookworm "issue"!
Its a wizard that's a private investigator, and there are currently 18 books out of the series and I think the plan is to have 25, but don't worry even though things carry through from book to book, each book is kind of an individual story around Harry Dresden so its not like you have to read all 18, you'd enjoy it from the beginning
So if you get into Sanderson there are tons of things to read
One more suggestion that's Sci-Fi, but is hands down one of my favorite series is Red Rising Saga by Pierce Brown, first book is Red Rising, just check out the summary for it because this series is so incredibly good.
Harry Potter is a magical world no pun intended. Perfect for any age.
Wow! Excellent choices! Definitely read the HP books before watching the movies. Loved Evelyn Hugo, A Court of Thorns and Roses, and Where the Crawdads Sing. Would love to head your reaction.
“Imma cut that” the way I HOWLED laughing 🤣 Love your videos!!! I want to recommend Flowers for Algernon - I just started it myself and it’s so good so far! Looking forward to your reviews of these books!
