Currently testing a blue sorc - 0 points in vita. I've made it to Hell difficulty with just 1 death. I'm also testing a Dex amazon. Somehow it has been extremely difficult to get a +2 skill, fcr staff :( Planned gear setup: Tarnhelm Silks Magefist/Frosties (I think fist is better) 2 SoJ +2 skiller, fcr amulet +2 skiller, fcr staff Rare Belt/Boot with life, FHR and FRW.
Cool. Thats probably one I also need to try. Though it doesn't differ too much how I have it now 100vita 300 energy etc. Basically what you need is very good +HP items especially in the early stages. Generally pretty much no one used a Staff in battle.net the normal way was FCR wand with good stats like HP mana and 3x resists + wall of eyeless or sigon shield.
@@akse Well, you can get another +Skills from a staff, plus bonus to specific skills. Hoping for +3 warmth and energy shield. Also want to try a Firewall sorc eventually.
@@akse Well, in the newer versions of D2 i always try to keep block chance low as sorc. Because the recovery is so long. Honestly feels more dangerous to succeed in blocking ;)

Yeah thats true.. but you lose FCR and block.
I might try if I find a good staff.. perhaps something like blizzard + Meteor hybrdi build :)

Yeah in this old version there is no block animation.. except for ranged attacks :)

No.. Classic and to be exact Original Classic. So Diablo 2 before the Expansion was released.
Also great, Orb before the cast delay. Love it.
Yeah it's really different feel to the gameplay.
