    I am 50 and in my final class before I graduate and I could HAVE NEVER past Pathway and Stats without this guy!!!! You are the best! Thanks for explaining everything with such ease, natural, and applying to everyday things. Wait... and FUNNY too!! Don't stop teaching. 👍

    I have a man-crush on this guy! Not only does he explain really well, but I got an A in my college stat class because of him. He makes stats easy for anyone. Thanks Mr. Nystrom you are the best. I wish I had more teachers like you.

    An intuitive explanation of independence.... that's really good. In experimental Design of Experiments (DOE), widely used by process engineers, this would be flagged as 'significant' or 'insignificant' factors or interactions... I like how Mr Nystrom gives an intuitive understanding of independent factors...

    Hi, could you please help me with this question; why is multiplying variables different and or better than adding variables together? Many thanks. P.S. My question is to do with frequency distribution rather than probability but I'm pretty sure I heard you say (in another vid) that multiplying a variable allows you to see the result on a bigger scale and therefore differences between variables are more clear. My tutor described it like multiplying variables means if someone scores zero for motivation and they score 4 for talent and 5 for practice ..if you just add them together - ( e.g.9 would be composite score of how good drawer they are) - so the zero will counts a lot in adding variables to get frequencies. but if you multiply all the variables, 0,4 and 5 then the 4 and 5 will compensate for the 0 in motivation and will make the other two variables (that all come together to make the same thing - how good drawing someone is) more of an equal frequency distribution. P.S. apologies for long and protraction but any light you can shed on any of this would be much appreciated. I understand if you don't know what I'm going on about though as I am only just grasping what I am saying myself in small glimpses.
