ummm. There is nothing intrinsically wrong with using percentages greater than 100%. Whether this makes sense depends entirely on the context; so in the context, he is describing magnitude. As in... Holy Fucking Shit, this guy fucking rocks... Subscribed!
I couldn’t make myself turn it off. 100% probability I come back and watch more of these videos. I’m a homeschooling momma trying to teach my kiddo so these are gonna be a GREAT resource for me! I’m taking lessons from your incredible enthusiasm:-)
Holy moly, you’re such a blessing to me right now! Thank you for this video, you totally helped me! You’re the bomb stats teacher! Not RUG!! Hahaha! I read a whole chapter on probability & before this video I thought, “Can stats get anymore confusing?! it’s R or G! So funny, you make want to keep studying!
just amazing :) i saw your video regarding standard variation "the average distance to the mean" :D best video and now this really helping me for my GRE Exam :)
Please help me I have had an a full office of people who could not do this what I am about to say. If I had 10 objects who many times different ways could I arrange them in groups of three. Order does not matter. Just everything having a turn to be in a three with everything else? People have said 120 is this corect?
Awesome video I have a quick question though. At this time of min 12:41 when you're looking for P (G/E) you said the answer was 2/5. Wouldn't it be 3/5 since there are 5 even numbers and three green? Thanks! Great channel by the way!
@@alanlongmuir4131 that will take me 28 years to win this game. is there way i can get 5 numbers from 39 faster. by playing more combos? 100 million. but could it take say 25000 attemps? or even 5000?
I'm taking stats in college and found this in my efforts to get a clue. Thank you for the clue. There is hope. Where were you when I was in high school?
Sometimes it's nice to have someone explain something like you're 5 years old
ONLY when the "teacher" looks like this...; )
Probability of me subscribing: 1000%. Wish I had this dude as a teacher, I'd actually want to pay attention in class...
Lol, I know that Bob.
but there is no such thing as 1000 percent it only goes up to 100

probability is based on a scale of 0-1 so it wouldn't be 1000% it would be 100 or very likely dumbass

No, because only 2 of the greens are even.
You’re very handsome!!! Thank you for the explanation 😁
just what I needed!
when odds of winning are 1 in 16000. does that mean i need to play 16000 times to get 1 win.??
No, it could happen on the first attempt or the 100 millionth attempt. On the average, you should win once in every 16,000 attempts.
@@alanlongmuir4131 that will take me 28 years to win this game. is there way i can get 5 numbers from 39 faster. by playing more combos? 100 million. but could it take say 25000 attemps? or even 5000?
@@alanlongmuir4131 first i thought 1 in 16000 were decent for a lottery type game when consider most are millions to 1.
In fact, there is about a 37% probability that you will not win even once if you make 16,000 attempts.
This would be the coolest teacher in the school if I had him in my school and I wish I did because maybe then I would actually like maths...
