I remember the first time I heard this song. I bought "Burn" by Deep Purple and put on on the turntable and was blown away. Still my favorite hard rock track.
I have this 2004 DVD full of all of Whitesnakes hits.This is the first song of the concert.And i have Deep Purples Burn album on CD.What kills me about Tommy....he is so soft spoken and even at 70+ years old still murders the drums.As far as i am concerned......He reigns as all time Metal Drummer.I saw him with Pat Travers years ago and a few others.Rock On Tommy.!!

Combine that with Coverdale, who originally sang this song "Burn" when he was with Deep Purple, and the rest of this incredible band and you have a nuclear explosion of one of theeee greatest rock and roll songs ever written - and - physically demanding on the drums!! It took me a while but I finally got this song about 98% down and when it's over - I am pumped up and covered in sweat!! Playing drums to this would make for an excellent exercise video on building muscle, burning fat and staying fit! Outstanding performance here!
