The “new” studio is stark and offers zero style compared to the former studio. The video is hard on the eyes as the shutter speed appears improper for ease of viewing. Lastly, if that weren’t troubling enough, even the audio is muffled. All of this makes for an uncomfortable viewing experience, compared to the former arrangement.
I have been watching since the Watchuwant days and loved the progression in al these years, but i really don’t understand why you guys switched to this. You are taking a giant step back... Content is great as ever!
This format is a great Saturday morning 'watch' after breakfast and before starting my day. It introduces me to brands I might never have seen otherwise. Thank you Man.
With a 1/100th of a second mechanical chronograph and forged Carbon case the Zenith is my favorite on the table today. That particular RM was quite sweet too, despite being overpriced. Two brands I wouldn’t usually go for. Oh and yet another handsome Ressence variation. All their watches are so sleek and modern looking. Black dials on Patek’s are growing on me, a very nice perpetual with a quite stunning looking movement.
Tim lighting is off on this one, great video nonetheless. Always great waking up on a Saturday drinking coffee and watching you discuss some beautiful timepieces!!!
I've tried to acknowledge my crew since the earliest days of the studio in Florida, and Harrison deserved more credit than usual for working with me today. Best, Tim
Job number one this week was better sound; mission accomplished. The next step is to improve the background, and this will arrive this week. Ultimately, we'll have a professional environment that looks more refined than the old desk and shelves. Best, Tim
@@the1916companywatchreviews i am sorry to say that audio is really bad on this video Tim... And i have been watching your shows for years. Hope it can be fixed.
Tim you could do a show from a tent on the side of a mountain and I would watch and enjoy! I am sure studio will be worth waiting for! great show again!
It's a challenge that we need to overcome. For now, the sound has been fixed; a set change will follow. After that, we can dial the lighting to avoid color shifts. Best, Tim
Nice show, Tim! I like the new setup, very minimalist. White Milguass -- my first Rolex, my favorite Rolex -- hands-down! If I could only have one piece it would be the white dial Milgauss. You can wear it anywhere, for any occasion.
Morning Tim, a good day to look at watches (and coffee). Nice selection of Omegas, that Speedmaster looks awfully Daytona-ish, and thanks for showing that Hanhart. They get no love from anyone but are such classic fliegers. I believe production is really small so they aren't seen much but to me are really (I hate to use the word) iconic for their place in history along with the Tutima 59's. Also, as I recall, no less a person then Steve McQueen started out with a Hanhart. Also liked your reference to Le Patron's love of Bentleys, your a real aficionado. Cheers
Great selection as always!!! This show, 3 comments... 1. My heart, JLC black & Rose Tourbillon WOW WOW WOW... 2. My tech spirit, the Zenith 1/100 Chrono, hypnotic 1/second lap, no one like El Primero. 3. My $ , Oris incredible option, the size case and squeleton dial awsome View! ...urkwerk not for me.
I wish the prices were listed for all the watches. Love the pricing in the description, great addition. I just wish that 7 of the 21 watches had prices. It’s fine if there’s a couple without price, but one out of three without pricing is frustrating. Great show and content as always.
I can't make that call. There was a colossal fight with sales regarding whether I would be allowed to even show a watch that didn't have pricing. The "email" solution was the only thing that convinced them to let me show pre-pricing watches on this channel. Best, Tim
Tim’s great show is being hugely let down by the substandard set and audio quality. Couldn’t you have just found another desk with a shelf behind it. That’s all we need.
Wow.. that Glashutte Original PanoTourbillon is really something. But the Urwerk UR-105 CT Streamliner just don't do it for me... Too fancy. The IWC Portuguese Rattrapante Munich Boutique blue is such a stunner. Great show as always. Thanks Tim. Thanks guys at the studio. Have a nice weekend. Take care.
The GO is one of my favorite models from the brand. My only question is how that model can be a "Pano" without the actual "panoramadatum" that distinguishes watches in the "Pano" model line! Best, Tim
That Greubel Forsey is a work of art, but I do prefer their GMT and their all hands made simple time watch more than this one. I have to say I am totally stunned by that white gold Daytona with the blue dial, amazing looking watch, that would be the Daytona to get. I have to say my favorite this week is that Urwerk, that is one hell of a watch :D The future is now :D Is the hype dying down on the Richard Mille?
The best version of this Greubel is the Double Tourbillon 30 Degrees Secret. Steven Forsey told me that he considers it to be one of Robert Greubel's best designs, and I think you would love it. Best, Tim
Great show Tim. Urwerk shot the show in to orbit. Lov the technical mechanical layout of the watch. Need to do a special show about futuristic looking watches. Rolex Daytona blue dial is sweet for investment and collecting one and done. Thank you sir please keep showing us fans special watches like this and many more. Stay safe an warm.
I usually tend to prefer the high horology pieces on this show, but the full WG Daytona really sung to me today . Was torn between that and the WG steel dial on Oysterflex : went with the latter after repeatedly watching your vids on it, but seeing the blue dial now makes me ask ... What if 🤔
That Daytona is a bombshell. I don't know why more people don't order that -- minimal, if any, waitlist -- instead of bending over backwards to pay $60,000 for a 5711. Best, Tim
I was surprised by how much I enjoyed that one. It's easily the best version of the Sky-Dweller, and the fit is impressive for such a large watch. Frankly, I'd love to own one. Best, Tim
For now, I'm sticking with what I have while I think about the future. But I'm likely to add the full-Tegiment factory Sinn bracelet for my EZM 1.1 in the near future, and I'm excited about that. Best, Tim
Isn't that piece special? I wish all Rolex models were that interesting. It's the kind of Daytona dial Rolex never would offer in stainless steel. Best, Tim
Orange & Blue isn't "unusual".......It's GATOR colors!!!!!! Seriously....great looking Planet Ocean. Great video as usual. So many I desire. Audio was much better on this one.
That's coming. I'm saving it for a -- hopefully -- near future in which I have the production support to film proper produced features with watches. I'm not giving away any secrets when I say that I'd like to go back to challenging Watchfinder's production values (see our original "Versus" series here on Watchbox Reviews), but I need more crew commitment than I've had to this point. When the Milgauss test occurs, it will deserve a proper feature-style produced segment. Best, Tim
WatchBox Reviews. I agree the Platinum 50 th anniversary is something special .loved the show Tim thanks for taking time to reply you always show an eclectic mix with something for all taste and budget. Two caught my eye, the omega Speedmaster limited edition and the Daytona. Best Marcus
Thanks for the vid Tim. Do you plan on decorating the studio a bit. I’m not digging the black background. Also, do you plan on bringing Brian back for shows? I enjoyed your shows with him. Also... will Thanos and Mayne be posting any content soon - I enjoy their content as well. Also... what about CQ? Missing his vids too - maybe some conversations with collectors?? I feel the videos are too far into the sales realm right now - not enough equity building content. Looking forward to the Manjos, Mayne chat over whiskey though :)
@@jonchaton7541 Most of them are out of my range. I admire them for the craftsmanship. I like the look of the Saxonia moonphase which is nice for dress, simple and elegant. If funds were of no concern, at the other end of the spectrum the Zeitwerk is just insane.

The old set is gone, but a new set is coming. We'll have a new look this week.

that patek perpetual calendar is gorgeous. price not bad either. first time I see it
It's almost a perfect fusion of the Cartier Tortue's shape with a Patek Philippe movement: hot.

Crazy, crazy line up today! I dont know why but the Cartier it's my favourite one on the table, it's so much charm!
I liked that one, too. It's the princely Cartier image you imagine -- not the debased mass-market luxury commodity that Cartier has become.

Love the silver-white Ressence! And your monitor didn't fib, green was nowhere to be found on the Premier for Bentley when filmed in this new studio.

Quite a fine ""box of chocolates" to start the weekend! I love the passion with which you describe each watch.
It comes from the heart. Even after five years (six this July), this remains a personal passion.

Great show again. The astronaut Wally Schirra's last name is pronounced Shir-RAH. I'm old enough to remember when he and the 6 others were chosen.
I just think it’s funny that if the Amvox III had RM on the dial (and I love RM) it would be 10x the price and much less accurate. Awesome watch
If an RM had all of those features, it would be built for RM by APRP and pried close to a million dollars.
