I'm a huge Franchise and Road to the Show fan but with little to no changes to Franchise as usual, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed. Either way, I'm sure none of us are surprised by now that they only care about Diamond Dynasty. That's why I'll just wait 2 months until it's half off before picking it up.

I still fail to understand why they haven't added a stadium creator mode to this game. MVP 2005 had it on PS2 (that's 14 years ago by the way), but it still doesn't exist on PS4. Completely baffling.
Madden used to have that feature back in 05 too. It seems like once the companies start focusing more on graphics they take those little things out of it more.

List of what should come back to baseball video games: 1) Being able to create your own ballpark. As an A's fan, I'd love to give my team the best version of my dream ball park for them, and help them become at least a mid market team, so I can retain the talent on my team, without having to turn off the cap, so I can keep a realistic feel to the dynasty. 2) full animations where I can visually see the catcher throwing the ball back to the pitcher every time, as the batter regathers himself at the plate, before the next pitch.. Rather than sometimes the pitch gets thrown back and sometimes, the pitcher is already set to throw the next pitch as it skips the catcher throwing the ball back to the pitcher... I don't mind playing a game that takes me 60-80 minutes long, I love the suspense of baseball. And that's literally it. Everything else seems to be on its way into the right direction.
Except for there's no online franchise, a feature they had 3 years ago🤔😂 they are on their way to be an #easports kind of company, preying on people with addictive tendencies

I like the bobble recover thing this year, but I feel like it should result in less errors. Most of my games have 3+ errors for both teams because of how often people bobble
What they need to do is finally bring in the WBC like we’ve always wanted since the first show, also bring in create a team and create a stadium like nba 2k has, create a stadium and team in an area where mlb does not exist, it’s a new take and refreshing

You can blame that on EA and 2k sports. After EA got the right to the NFL 2k did the same thing for baseball and it's kinda stayed like that since. I think both exclusive rights have long expired but I can be wrong
I love ALMOST every thing about the game this year and I’m a diehard fan of The Show. I say almost cause Franchise needs attention! I’m not even asking for relocation! Just give me more meaningful GM goals so if I want to rebuild a contending/aging team I can with adjusted goals that would give me money when I succeed to put towards marketing and ticket prices and stadium upgrades. I would love an international signing period, and ability to trade more than 3 players at a time. Give me those in Franchise with everything else the same next year and I would give a 12/10, appreciate ya SDS!
I like the idea of the special camera during certain moments but when actually using it, it's quite jarring. I wouldn't mind it if I were watching a repeat of the game I just played but I don't use it in-game.

I play exclusively RTTS, so I’ll definitely be picking this up at some point, probably the first sale in the PS Store (since Blu-ray copies usually don’t make it to Germany).
Is the fielding truly improved? Couldn't finish a season in 18 because I got sick of the clunky defensive controls (outfielders would often commit errors).
Games awful besides the hitting. Fielding feels like GTA running and the player ratings don’t matter at all you could be Chris Davis and rake and be Aaron Judge and do awful swinging the same time on same pitch. Very inconsistent

Within the last few years, I've stopped buying The Show games every year. I've since skipped a year and now buy them every other year. I'm old school - I pick a team and play franchise on a high difficulty and play every single game in the season and it lasts me quite sometime. I enjoy it quite a bit. The lack of changes and upgrades to franchise mode is a little frustrating but I guess it could be worse. I'll be waiting for MLB 20 The Show to come out.

Because you can adjust velocity, imagine having 2 fastballs and being able to throw them from 90mph to 97mph, shits crazy, or your slider going from 83 to 86, makes a huge difference when you face people tha can actually hit and recognize pitches
I don't know how you come up with anything less than a 10 for this game. Diamond Dynasty is perfect. This is the most compete baseball game ever created, they have done a truly masterful job this season with the game play, and they got the physics right. All the defensive exploits which made for unrealistic baseball plays are gone, it's truly like the real game.
I still havent bought a Baseball game since MVP 2005. Nothing tops MVP. I bought that game every year and would have still bought it every year up until now.

I still havent bought a Baseball game since MVP 2005. Nothing tops MVP. I bought that game every year and would have still bought it every year up until now.
I always get this on my bday so I have to wait a little bit and also I’m going to go to a brewer game on my bday so this year it will be longer than usual ( it is a Sunday so I could play when I get home cuz it’s a day game) Can’t wait to play!!!
So much potential with this game and they fail tremendously, it’s really sad

Seriously I play through an entire season in the minors, get a contract and then only get to bat in the 8th inning...and if I am in the starting lineup I don't get to bat at all....who are the geniuses who keep shoveling out this nonsense?
