Pomegranates need full sun. Keep an eye on the weather report and if temps threaten to drop below 40 degrees F. (4 C.), move the plant indoors to a sunny window.

I've never heard of mustard cake. That's interesting that it can be used for gardening.
Mustard cake is the solid residue after extracting oil from mustard seeds and is used traditionally in India as a fertiliser for plants. Similarly neem cake, peanut cake, pongamia cake etc are bye products from oil extraction from these seeds and used in agriculture and gardening.
Wonderful!! By educating people about gardening and planting trees, you are doing a great job. It's a high time if we won't wake up our coming generations will have to pay for it. Since most of us are living in flat systems people generally have balconies and they can only plant trees in pots. I do feel motivated when I see such videos but don't know how to start. Twice I bought plants from nursery on very high rates but they couldn't survive😞 can you help me on this

Great video. I've never seen the mustard cake thing before. Can this be used with other plants of is mustard the best way to go? Seems like it's similar to compost tea but with fermentation instead of an air bubbler.

My grafted pomegranate plant is planted in a plastic container of 20inches diameter. And receive a direct sun of exactly 6hrs(morning 7am-6pm). Are these condition ok or some change required. (Plz note - i live in jodhpur,rajasthan
These are ok... Add mustard cake fertilizer n a handful of vermi compost with 8-12 granules of DAP... After every 18-20 days

They like to have a companion tree of a different variety
As they produce more crop if they are cross pollinated
Hi, I bought 7 air layered plants from the place you suggested in the description box, have followed all the instructions/ care regarding the potting mix, watering, sunlight exposure, etc. But it’s been 8 days and I do not see any new growth in any of the plants. Does it take more than a weeks time for new growth or is there something wrong with the plants that I have received..? Please help!

i have a question like can we use mustard cake powder instead of liquid mustard cake fertilizer because the smell of liquid fertilizer is very bad can't tolerable?And if yes than what is the dosage and time interval of dosage.

Yes u can add 2 table spoon after every 10-12 days.... But liquid one is more effective... Reddish orange is the colour

What is the size of the pot?
@@urbangardeningofficial one pot is 12 inch dia and 12 inch height. Othet one is 18 inch dia and 15 inch height. Rest three are 12 inch dia and 9 inch dia. All flowers droop and do not become fruit.

Make a hole in the soil 6-8 inches away from the main stem ....put 1.5 table spoon fertilizer in the hole ..cover it with the soil n water well ....do this after every 20-25 days

Please advise. My pomegranate plant which I bought from the nursery ( more than a year ago) is planted in the ground. It bears fruits this year( I counted 8) but the size is about the size of a ping pong ball. It’s been 5 months plus and still the size doesn’t increase. What can I do? Thanks in advance.
Yours are the ornamental ones...grown for the decoration purpose not for harvesting...🙂 it all depends upon the variety

Due to replanting plant will experience shock n will drop some of it's buds n leaves... It's a normal process... It will take some days to settle itself
