  • In this video, I am sharing my plan for my 2 year old. I like to use Montessori materials and philosophy with my children in the toddler and preschool years. This is not strictly a "curriculum" but rather some areas to work on with her during a focused time and throughout the day.

I love this! I also had issues with the approach to fantasy in our Montessori school when my eldest was there-I was told off by the lead primary teacher for letting my child listen to fairy tales. Shocking! 😂 I now have a toddler who is in forest school a couple of mornings a week, which allows us to do some school while she plays in the woods with her friends, but she is such a perfect little Montessori kid, I really feel as if I need to add some of these activities into our lives. Thanks so much for a lovely video, as always!

I am so glad you enjoyed this! That is awful that they told you off for fairy tales! I think forest schools are amazing and it is great that you have found one for your toddler. I am hoping to make some more specific videos on the activities I am doing with my current toddler as well.
