While EXO is a well know group I feel that certain members are underrated and that their indivudual skills aren't really noticed. I think that Chen is one of the best vocalists in Kpop.
My sister was watching the video without knowing who it was and she walked by my room and I was like "Are you listening to Chen singing?" and she isn't particulary a fan so she was like "What?! How do you know it's him." ... It's impossible not to notice. He has a beautiful voice and his vocals are amazing!
Well I watched the episode and my *brother* said the same and he's like 8 and not really into K-Pop so he came by and I was quite sure it was Chen so I asked him "u know this voice" just for fun and he just said "Chen, of course", turned around and went into his room. Like, just from listening for five seconds without hesistating

I saw a video, when 2 korean youtubers asked some korean guys, they asked who is the most handsome idol. and one of the guys picked "CHEN". Cause he have seen Chen in King of Mask Singer personally, chen is really handsome .
They were all shocked and scared as soon it was revealed that he's EXO's Chen. Lol remember the time Xiumin asked EXO-Ls for help and the all of the hosts got shocked and apologize immediately. EXO-Ls is really the fandom you can't mess up with😂
I think it is so beautiful that he has a little family. It is the most beautiful moment in life when you hug your child for the 1st time. We should all be happy for him and support him and cheer him up.

the best thing about this is that exo had just debuted and were still considered rookies, and not many people knew the group members individually yet which was why they were surprised to see Chen on the stage,, since they’re not familiar with the members yet. I think they were actually ranked in top 3 influential celebrities in Korea that year and released their third million+ selling album lol. Chen is known the be one of the less talented dancers (though he makes up for it with enthusiasm) and is apparently ranked as one of the less attractive members (although he's my second favourite so idk who's saying this. :P ). I cried when I first seen this and I'm glad he went on the show. They didn't know who he was, they judged him fairly because of that. They have a crazy schedule and crazy dance routines. I don't blame their company to have them lipsync to focus on the visual aspect and rest their voice. Even if they are indeed capable of singing live it puts a lot of strain on a singer who has to do it everyday and for several long hours. Even great singers have to take rest to take care of their vocals.
How can some people keep barking that exo is popular bcz of sm when the judges were amazed by his vocal without knowing he's a exo member or he's under sm?? No matter how big your band is, how successful you are, we all, humans, have these kind of fears and concern. I feel like Chen has a doubt and fears about how people think about him, and he want to improve himself better. Being labeled as "famous" sometimes takes the value of a person, some people might not like it, bcs when you label them as "famous" then ppl will only remember that word without knowing the reason why that people is being labeled "famous", unlike when you label ppl as "nice" "kind" "a good voice" (I didn't mean anything bad )

I cried when I first seen this and I'm glad he went on the show. They didn't know who he was, they judged him fairly because of that. Aside from being the main vocal of one of top kpop groups EVER, he is a fantastic singer and I'm glad he went on the show so everyone can recognize the singer Kim Jong Dae rather than just Exo Chen

They have a crazy schedule and crazy dance routines. I don't blame their company to have them lipsync to focus on the visual aspect and rest their voice. Even if they are indeed capable of singing live it puts a lot of strain on a singer who has to do it everyday and for several long hours. Even great singers have to take rest to take care of their vocals.
All SM rookies lip sync the first year unless they can't for certain shows. Like exo showcase they didnt lip sync.

chen deserves a solo career but i think sm is making him wait just because suju had to wait at least 8 smth years for theirs? and so as not to have chen offend company sunbaes
they are shocked because k pop groups are never thought to be so strong and skilled vocally. he should be doing a solo debut and will be successful.
No offend but I think it's not nice for Exo to lose more members. In 3 years, they lose 3 members. I don't think it still nice to lose their main vocal.
I don't think Chen is strong enough for a solo career. He sings really well and has the looks, but might not be enough to carry him.
I heard EXO's contract is active until 2022
+Dominique Lola Chen's solo stuff get lots of recognition, you always see them on top of things when they come out~ He may be one of the least popular in EXO, but EXO-L is a laaaarge fanbase, meaning he still has nore fans than most other average groups' popular members even (unless the group's fandom is as big as EXO's)
