oh i love these tutorials!! I had suggested/asked about you guys offering pillar wax a little while back and I really appreciate makesy taking the time to create these videos and really listening to their customers. Your products are superior to any other supplier I've found. Thank you!
Aw yay! We really strive to make products based on what our customers want and need. Thank you for your feedback that helped lead to this launch and thanks for being a part of our amazing community!
HI, I am new to candle making. Just doing as a hobby and because I like the smells. I just started to try making the pillar candles. Learning mistake did not know there was special wax. I got the pillar wax now, Soy Pillar wax, candles design came out great but they burn realllly fast. What can cause that? A pillar candle to burn fast.
You can but you'll want to make sure you burn test sufficiently to ensure it doesn't melt too fast! We recommend starting with the skinniest single ply wicks we have.
You can reference our Wick Selection Guide for recommendations on the appropriate wick to use for your pillar wax type and mold diameter! makesy.com/pages/makesy-wick-selection-guide

Check your wick size! If your wick is too large for the candle it will burn more quickly
Do they need to cure ???
Can you cut off the metal piece on the wick?
Absolutely love
Can you use wood wick for the pillar candle?
