I'm probably just fatally immature, but I'm convinced he's aware of how funny it is to have to teach this. He has some excellent deadpan delivery, too. Like his claim about never using these words before.
I think the deadpan delivery is required to teach a topic like this. My lecturer taught me to never bring this up in a formal classrom. If such topic does come to light during the classroom, say, when a student asks you, then the teacher should respond and explain briefly and then move on after the question has been satisfied. Don't drag it too much, don't laugh, don't overexplain. The students got their answer, and that's that.
haha he's 100% being ironic. he's just trying to have some fun and make the lesson funny for his students. these internet lessons are extremely common and students in korea use these for Korean SATs they take once a year. its common for these teachers to try to relieve some stress as the study is very competitive

I think the deadpan delivery is required to teach a topic like this. My lecturer taught me to never bring this up in a formal classrom. If such topic does come to light during the classroom, say, when a student asks you, then the teacher should respond and explain briefly and then move on after the question has been satisfied. Don't drag it too much, don't laugh, don't overexplain. The students got their answer, and that's that.
haha he's 100% being ironic. he's just trying to have some fun and make the lesson funny for his students. these internet lessons are extremely common and students in korea use these for Korean SATs they take once a year. its common for these teachers to try to relieve some stress as the study is very competitive
@@GalluZ Nah, he's having fun with it, that's why he said he's never said those words before. That's a clear lie. It's better to not give the words so much power and have fun with it than have all this formality. It's so weird to pretend these words aren't said in the real world, every professional environment I've been in, from science labs and observatories working with Nobel Prize winning physics professors to writing software in the medical field, everyone swears all the time, and much worse than in this video.
