We are taking in a 15 year old and expecting her to arrive in a few days. She is unhappy at her current home and doesn't feel part of the family. I'm hopeful since her grades are amazing.. I am nervous and sometimes wonder if we are making the right decision. My husband keeps reassuring me.. I think God only gives what he thinks you can handle. ❤️
She may not have any housecleaning or toiletries skills, if she wasn't mothered. Teach her these things, like she was a child and you, the patient mother and it will work out.
God can give you more than you can can handle. I am a special needs mom and know this to be true. We are to lean on Him when that occurs rather than our own strength.
