Check out this Audi Q7 being repaired by Team Bodycentre, There is another video further down on our channel of the same repair but my youtube skill 1 year ago wasn't up to scratch. Iv now re edited the video and created a much better version.
We received a massive amount of traffic through the last video and we hope you like this one even more. This job really did need a new 1/4 panel a few people did disagree but I'm our eyes a car which was next to new really do not need a 1/4 FULL of filler, the process we have chosen to follow is to replace the panel which is much more beneficial for the car and much more durable.

Put 2k on hard. Over 20 painters painting. Helicopters are the best base and lacquer.
have u got thatcham methods?or access to them. If so take a look. mig braze plus joining on the dog leg is wrong. a good pannel beater would of repaired that panel. 😂
Would you fill the complete 1/4 and leave all the damaged inner? Our panel beater could of repaired this no problems but it was a new car we've done the most durable repair. I'd like to compare this job as repaired and new 1/4 fitted a few years time.
If you check thatcham methods you can purchase quarter panel A and quarter panel B, Quarter panel A is butt welded on the sill panel and upper roof rail. Quarter panel B is butt welded on the dog leg. Do you have access to Thatcham Methods?
u have joind it on the dog leg where u are need to bond it. I can not weld through binder. it will just rust. even where u not welded it across the top I can c holes. like I said destroed a good car. keep up the bad work. 😂😂😂😂😂
