I am not one of those bigger gaming websites no 2-minute reviews here only details. Videogame reviews all the time. So if you are tired of short reviews, ones that don't discuss all the games, this is the right place. No big website 2-minute stuff here.

Just a full on debacle. Some fun but so buggy that it stops fun with the plot the story, the way everything is done, even the combat when you realize the AI is worthless.
That being said. There is some captivating stuff here.
Anyway if you like none sponsored stuff and no bs.

I still had fun with it in spite of that, definitely nowhere near as awful as 76 was in terms of bugs IMO.

The problem for me is, there’s literally zero social stuff you can do in NC. But they totally tricked you into thinking you can dance, drink, eat, etc with your pal. All of those are just one time mission (or a small cutscene).
And what’s the point of having multiple “apartment”, you can’t even use the bed other than your original apartment
Exactly. This game is like a mile wide lake that's only a centimeter deep. It's so shallow in every aspect its not even funny
Right? When they showed off the apartment in the previews it looked like you actually had a place of your own to get lost in and look out the window to see a world full of life... Ooof
@@EmeraldBayMovies Yeah. Remember how people tell that Skyrim is "wide as an ocean, deep as a puddle"? Cyberpunk takes that cake... This game is so shallow that it may as well be just flat. Which is fitting, the game is just superificial - all style and no substance. All cyber and no punk.
This game is as shallow as a girl from LA
@@BoroMirraCz I'd have to say mafia 2 World was beautiful BUT super dead. The worse one so far
This game is like that guy who had the potential to become a world-class football/soccer player but kept fucking up with parties and skipping training and getting into fights with people.

@@NickRockhbk Maradona doesn't fit the description at all. He didn't waste his potential to be a world-class footballer, he *was* a world-class footballer. You should be looking more in the direction of people like Quaresma and Gascoigne.

Integrity right here. Gets the cold shoulder from CDPR because they feared his integrity. Then CDPR intentionally offers the review code late to save face, knowing there wouldn’t be time to review it properly. That was rejected by ACG. That’s integrity. That’s why this is my go to review channel. I don’t agree with everything you say, thankfully, but great stuff. Excellent video review, keep it up m8. Merry Christmas 🎄, you filthy animal.

@@Dzf34r This guy's right. The exact opposite of integrity
Love the guy, but I doubt CDPR ''feared'' his integrity. Had he gotten a review code earlier, this review would have been a lot softer. I'm not sure the word integrity is the word that you're looking for here.

The voodoo boys were made out to be so important and you literally only see them for like one quest
There are some gigs and general open world areas involving the voodoo boys but yeah. They really should've incorporated the gangs more rather than just using them as an excuse for enemy diversity.

This makes me feel better about killing the lot of them
After I was betrayed multiple times by them I've decided to murder their leader and everyone that stood in my way as I was leaving their underground compound. Few hours later I had a fist fight in their base :]
I bet they cut development due to all the woke journalists clamoring about racism and appropriation. thank god for ACG so i can get a real gamer's perspective.
@@Wrek100 Don't make excuses for CDPR.
It's obvious this game was released way too early but this project also screams of mismanagement of time and resources during the development cycle.
Wait until you hear the conference call between management and their investors. Devs got fucked over by management and said management lied to investors.
@@Razgriz_01 i smell a lawsuit in the air, or four.
@@Razgriz_01 management lied about what exactly ? Because it isn’t like this Game has star citizen level depth ....theirs triple AAA STUDIOS on the same level of cdprojectred who put out more complete products in less of time ..I’m not throwing blame at one person particular but I don’t think the buffons of devs are innocent ..I suspect management gave them space and time to just make a great then the devs started taking forever to make basic stuff in game they started rushing them leading to crunch and now the devs are bitching cause they basicly had to crunch last 2 years after wasting 5 years of development
@@Chitown18 People keep thinking development for CP77 was 7 exact years when, in reality, it was actually just 3 or 4 years. For a game this ambitious, that is not enough time. You also forget that they were still busy focusing on Witcher 3 when CP77 was announced. Any actual development for CP77 started around 2017. The problem, however, was how the higher-ups handled the teams in CDPR. The original team for CP77 was axed around 2017. It was also around that time that senior developers left CDPR. They had to bring in industry veterans to help out, even got some from Rockstar to join in. The problem was they had new management that had no experience in video game development, you can imagine how this caused problems. It doesn't help that the CEO of CDPR created a hostile work environment by pitting teams against each other over development. They also lied to investors about the state of the game, hence why there is now a lawsuit from one of their investors. If you remember, around 2018 or 2019, they said Cyberpunk was basically done, another lie made up by their higher-ups that even the devs didn't know. The delays for game wasn't even known to the developers until it was posted on Twitter. So yeah, if there's anyone to blame, its the management and higher-ups in CDPR.
@@Chitown18 you’re exactly right. The game content was finished in 2019. It was not developed well so there were too many defects for them to fix in even an entire year. Management aren’t responsible for incompetent devs
I saw someone say this on twitter and it sums it up perfectly. "Cyberpunk is the best game that I can't recommend to anyone. It's a great game... don't buy it!" lol
That’s exactly how I feel about it having dropped my eddies on the pile of perfect crap.
It's not a great game though. No game with hundreds, possibly thousands of bugs can be described as great. It's potentially great.
Yea. That’s perfect. I really like the game. But I’d never recommend it to anyone.
@@satans_pet_penguin well, I put 60+ hours into my first play through and loved the hell out of it. So I think it’s a great game , but I still tell people to wait to buy it until it’s finished lol
its the most fun ive had in a game in awhile
feels fresh
great gameplay and gun play and i LOVE the sound
i havent had a bug or crash since day 1 on xsx but im the only one i guess
I appreciate the candid honesty of the review. I have seen too many apologists wanting to cut CDPR some slack for the game releasing with problems, giving it a high score in the hopes that the bugs will get fixed. This is much like reviewers cutting COD: Cold War slack because it had only 2 years development time. Screw that! These companies made the conscious decision to release the games when they did and we need to hold them accountable when the games are trash.
I played 80 hours of cyberpunk. Its amazing story and missions. Stop hating
Im so sick of people defending this practice of releasing a broken game then fixing it over the course of time. If I wanted to fucking play a live service game I’d play a mmo or Gacha game, not a triple A title that costs fucking 60 bucks. Like how do u defend this garbage? Honestly even if you’re willing to overlook the bugs, the game has SO many issues with the balancing of weapons to lifepaths being unremarkable. While the story was good, there was definitely a lot of content that was cut from it with the pacing being all over the place after the first act and being incoherent at times. The bugs only distract players from the real issues of the game. What a heap of garbage this game is
@@blackjackhearts9593 he's not hating he's just saying the facts
I think the reasons you're seeing some high reviews is that some people are having a great experience. I personally did. I had basically no issues with bugs, and the game perfectly hit what I was looking for (Deus Ex, but in a truly open world). So I give it five out of five stars, but the game is literally unplayable for other people, so 1 out of 5 stars for them. My general impression quietly and patiently listen, the general consensus seems to be: there's a great game here, but bugs prevent it from being accessible to a lot of people, and even with those who can play the game, there's room to disagree about the experience.
@@NPrinceling Those high reviews are from shills.
Dragon Age Origins didd the origin stories great, and a lot of the origins had a pretty big impact on the story in certain areas.
One of my favorite games of all time. Beat it 8 times trying out all the origins and endings.
Facts, Infact some origins would straight up help you get the best ending in dragon age.
Yeah, but to be fair NO-ONE else has accomplished what DA:O did either. One of a kind.
But, that's not to discount the criticism of this game. I didn't play Corpo, but I hear you basically completely change and become a street kid regardless of background, in just about all but mostly pointless filler dialogue options. Though I didn't expect DA:O, I did expect more.
can we get Origins Remake please? Everything stays the same except this time with fully upgraded graphics and gameplay mechanics.
@@CybFrog The thing is I think the CDPR team is absolutely capable of DA:O level writing. They just completely dropped the ball.
I find it amusing and kind of scary that every single time there is combat footage he is aiming for the crotch.

I never had any expectations for this game, didnt believe the hype either... got the game, played it for 5 hours got bored and moved on to something else. The game is a buggy mess, but its also bland, it's a burger with buns and lettuce and nothing else. No one should waste any more time talking about it.
@@BillClinton228 I completely agree but the fanboys on the Facebook group obviously disagree. The game is very bland with no exploration, loot sucks, ai sucks, the wanted system sucks, driving, etc. I can go on for hours. Funny thing is those things I listed aren't even bugs or glitches.

The Witcher 3 falls in the same category honestly.
@@gamersinger5118 YES, the Witcher 3 is unbearably boring, I could never understand why it has such a cult following

IT KILLED ME
That's what I keep hearing (playing it now) my assumption was the missions would play out very differently/as well as the dialogue because of your life path.
I was so excited to do another playthrough after picking street kid until I heard about this. Really is a shame.
Dialog choices depend on your chosen path. Similar to Kingdom Come's Low Born or High Born perk.
@@popculture70 Eh...some. And even then they dont really matter much
The thing people talk about most are the bugs but the cut content and lifeless world is what we should be most worried about. They can patch bugs but the core “rpg” content is lacking. Immersion is shallow. The crafting is garbage and unnecessary. The “life choices” are generic af and have no real meaning. Its a shell of what this game was supposed to be.
Its pretty much mediocre amatuer hour at best. A pretty facade and a lot of broken promosis. Just like the city itself.
Exactly. Bugs won't be an issue in some months but it's still a shallow mediocre game.
Yeah most people are just blaming bugs and expectations for all of it's shortcomings.
Yeah the shallowness of this game is so disappointing for me. Really hope they add the cut contents back in free dlcs or something
Live by the marketing, die by the marketing.
Wdym are you talking about CDPR or the fans being overhyped
@@adriannn3720 nah they REALLY over promised and under delivered
The Origins are suuuuch a big letdown man. I was hoping for more Corpo espionage and double dealings but no its just go to the club and get kicked out... It should've been like DA Origins where it plays out like a prologue quest and sets up your characters motivations and journey!
Totally. To think that a game from 2009 did origins so much better. Not just that, it had more origins as well. Shame there aren't any games like it anymore. I had big hopes for this.
I'm playing Corpo on PS5 and Nomad on Series X. No difference on either life paths bar the initial 5 minutes. I expect Street Kid to be the same. Sad. Still.... Having lots of fun on Series X, highly recommended after patch 1.04. PS5 is a let down though. Lesser graphics, lesser cars, lesser npcs, constant crashes.
@@AdityaKumar-qk9xo Still holding out hope that Dragon Age 4 will be a return to the love of Origins. I don't think it will, but...
@@AdityaKumar-qk9xo The origins in DA were so good that I started a new game with all the options just to see the content.
That's what I was thinking when they talked about the life origin stuff. It's a shame they ended up being flavour dialogue. Some very good dialogue, but I was expecting much more impact than that.
That laugh in the beginning was legendary

It will remain a bugged-out mess till the end of time.
Yup, before it came out, I had already decided, "I'll wait for a year and see where it's at, if there's any DLC, and if some good mods come out." Looks like it will be more than a year for that.
I played the Witcher III several years after it came out when someone got it for me as a gift (with DLC included) and it STILL needed mods to make it playable.
I really don't get the faith people have in CDPR. Brand loyalty? For this? What?

When you realize that gta 5 is light-years than a AAA game released in 2020
On 360 too lol
GTA V is pretty shallow game. While it doesn't excuse Cyberpunk's technical shortcomings, GTA really doesn't have much going for it aside from small technical details. I remember alot of people being underwhelmed by it on release. Like yeah, you can shoot holes in tires, but it doesn't fix the boring linear missions, poorly paced story and broken economy and lack of any real reward for anything you do in the game world.

This game is a perfect example of what's wrong with the gaming industry... Overhyped, over-promised, and underperforming. They always show all these great cut scenes and limited gameplay to get everyone excited then when you get in the game and see that it was all nothing but BS or didn't give a real representation of what was really in the game. No game should be allowed to release in this state
and thats the problem. it isn't like it was the people hyping the game up beyond what could be delivered. no no no. it was actually advertised and marketed to shape peoples expectations.
This would be unacceptable even without the hype. The hype just got it ridiculously high review scores for some reason.

@@jellyfishtrifle7883 Pretty sure the person who said that was that idiotic mod from the CDPR forums who is in no way affiliated with CDPR and is simply a colossal idiot. People have done tests after tests after tests and the bloating issue only happens when you do use the glitch(or cheat engine) to give yourself like max everything. If you just play normally it's very hard for the bloat to happen
@@AleksandrStrizhevskiy that was already debunked. Crafting to much or picking up to many items still causes the save corruption.
@@Ashurman666 again this was already debunked and can happen with both crafting normally or just looting to much.
For me, the game lacks interactivity. It's just like quests, gigs, the ocassional street fights, joy toys. It's lacking a lot of the random and useless sandbox elements I enjoy in an rpg - the world doesn't feel real to me because of it. It's made worse by a lot of the visual bugs. It's not an rpg to me, it's a shooter with rpg elements/a skilltree, which would be fine - but the marketing made me think otherwise.
This sums up the game exactly
Agreed - it makes the game feel very shallow. The game is not that engaging... simply because there isn't really much to engage with.
You wanted GTA by what you are describing, they never said it was going to be that.. you want bowling, darts and cards.. meaningless activities that are represented in Rockstar games, cool, that's fun, but real RPGs don't need that to be, well, an RPG.. Cyberpunk 2077 has every element that an RPG has, even if you don't like the world.
@@brink4987 It's RPG mechanics are pretty underwhelming.
Edit: "Are" instead of "a"
Agreed, i was expecting a lot more to do. Deeper relationships with dating and sex, minigames, random encounters, better npcs, etc. It just feels unfinished...
No immersion whatsoever, and no impact of our choices. These were my biggest problems with the game. It felt dead. Everything other than the main story felt robotic and lifeless, there only to tick boxes. Zombie NPCs, half assed romances, permanently closed stores, food vendors you couldn't talk to, let alone order, hell you couldn't sit on a chair if it wasn't in the script. When I realized that I could loot people's stuff right in front of them, with no repercussions at all, I knew that this was a straight up FPS game trying to pass as an RPG. Huge disappointment. No amount of patches can fix that mess.

So true
This game genuinely makes me mad after I watched a video talking about all the features that were scrapped. We were given a completely different game than the 40 minute demo.
This game is a travesty and should have never been released. I can't understand why so many people seem to be giving CDPR a pass. Is this the bar we want to set? i'm absolutely loving the game, over 70 hours in and not done but i saw a lot of the issues u talked about too and can see where you are coming from in many ways. i'm one of those "if that doesnt bother you, then its fine" people it seems
Same, sometimes I just keep walking looking the vistas, I never care for minigames mini activities and police chases in gta, etc.
@@alanale most people don't. Before RDR2 nobody cared about NPC routines, during RDR2 most people followed an NPC once to see their routine and never bothered to care about it again. Minigames and a living city does make a difference like we can see in a franchise like Yakuza, that said it isn't and it'll never be a deal breaker for most people.
All of a sudden not having a routine is a major crime for an open world game. In many ways Rockstar really raises the bar for how open world games are done, that said people praise them as if they didn't release pretty much the same game over 10 times in the last 4 generations. Even when they made a DS game from the ground up they just recycled GTA 1 and 2.
Agreed. This is my game of the year, despite all the bugs, and sometimes because of them.
Same, I'm absolutely not going to argue with anyone who is upset, especially on consoles - but for me the game performed about the same as vanilla skyrim or fallout 4. I love open world action combat, and the game scratched all the right itches for me. Hopefully with some of the promised DLC they'll flush the game out a bit, but it was worth the 60 bucks for me.
@@Ocean5ix Well yeah open world games don't NEED npc routines and minigames to be good because those things don't actually make the world dynamic, and rpgs NEED a dynamic world. Morrowind didn't have those things yet it is considered one of the greatest open world rpgs of all time, because you could actually interact with NPCs/the world in ways that are actually meaningful.
ACG literally made this distinction in the video, so I don't get why you and OP are making this point about NPC routines and minigames

I really detest the loot system in this game. I have fifty scopes, most of them only a few decimal points apart from eachother in stats.
If you're going to shower me with loot that's all virtually identical, why not just standardize the loot like the Deus Ex games do?
It feels like it's ripped straight out of Borderlands. I never asked for this.
Yeah, I love filling up my inventory with worthless junk that I constantly have to micro manage every 20 minutes, a great and fun system that belongs in games in 2020, truly.
Yea, even fallout 4 had better loot system. 10mm pistol = 10mm pistol , until it is modified.
This game should definitely taken a standardized approach to gun stats, which are modified by your character stats
@@geoffdb8118 you could still have a few makes or models for each gun type depending on the manufacturer. Some could have higher base power, others à higher rate of fire etc.
Not to mention there's power, tech and smart everything and still have iconic weapons.
But it absolutely didn't need a rainbow loot system. And to be honest, smart/tech/power shouldn't have been on EVERY weapon. Those should've been unique properties to a select few weapons or manufacturers and not be standard on everything.
Don't worry about scope stats, just try them out and find one you like. It's a visual thing and worrying about those stats is absolutely pointless. Silencer stats are a bit different, you'll want one that doesn't reduce base damage too much, and all the others can safely be disassembled.
@@Monochromatic_Spider I know, I'm just citing the scope thing to illustrate the problems with the loot system.

It is not really an RPG, more like a semi-interactive storybook. Could have bought 4 novels from the bookstore and got more story. I hope they fix it by changing the grandiose main quest. Most of it was fun to explore but it is too rigid to be called RPG and the "game" seems far to limited for any kind of modding potential (don't really care about extra clothes or different looks for a gun). I would like to get lost in this world but having to replay the main quest would bore me to tears.
I actually refunded it and used the money to purchase a visual novel... rofl. So, I guess I agree!
In a funny way the bugs are helping CDPR right now, taking the focus away from what is at most a bang average game even once bugs are gone. I don't see how they're going to patch or DLC their way out of that, after a while the game just gets incredibly boring and the missions are just not gripping or immersive at all. First few sessions I was completely into it, then gradually lost interest and have ended up putting it down without even finishing the main story
This hits the nail on the head.
Exactly the bugs are a blessing in disguise for CDPR
I couldn't agree more. Its been over a week since I last played it, not in a rush to go back either.
The Witcher 3 was a slightly above average game. Nothing more. I never got the hype unless TW3 was baby's first rpg.
Plot twist: the glitches are just Johnny Silverhand messing with you.
are they really? they never answer that in the story. I always thought he was messing at times, and when you get invited to be a part of the Aldecaldos after Panam's missions, it was almost too coincidental that the glitches started happening. But in the end Johnny didn't want to take your body. I feel like the writing is hit or miss at times when they try to make you think that he glitching you when something good happens and then a few story beats later, he seems to be helping you especially when his intentions are revealed at the end. They even let you decide what to do as Johnny if you did the mission as him in the end. You could even decide to be completely insensitive to taking V's body. This allowance of choice made the overall character of Johnny not always have smooth personality transitions. All of it is done to keep you confused and unsure about Johnny's true intentions, but it feels a little dishonest at times with how they wrote it to get that feeling out of you.

I was very lucky and mostly just experienced minor sound bugs in my playthrough (had a car randomly explode for no reason next to me and had to reset 1 time because I couldn't progress) but no missing textures, no egregious visual bugs etc.
I'd still say that while the game has a lot of good ideas there is a lack of polish, I'd constantly see interesting features or a promise of something that could be good but just falls short, like the in the combat there are some interesting weapons and abilities but the AI isn't amazing to play against. There are a lot of cool cars but pretty much all of them feel terrible to drive and a lot of the cars are pointless (why buy a big tanky car when there is no vehicle combat outside of a few scripted missions in which you don't get to use your personal car anyway?) and many examples of good ideas that just needed some polish.

I was lucky too during my time with the game to only experience some minor bugs and no crashing but I realise that many other people have had a horrible experience and I’m sorry that happened to them. My problem was the framerate which was fixed after I went into the memory pool config file and tweaked that to suit my cpu and gpu, went from 40 FPS or less at all times to 80-90 with a few sub 60 dips from time to time. I don’t know how they overlooked such a simple thing when putting the config files together
I think the issue is that not only was it the studios first venture into a first person game, they decided their first venture should be a massive game that's made with what's arguably not enough devs for a game of this size and scope. Open world games require an almost inhuman level of manpower and time to make, just think, RDR2 was made with 1100 devs, CP2077 was reportedly made with just around 500.
Cyberpunk IMO is a perfect example of reaching beyond your means, the fact they were even able to make a game this big and complex with what they had is a testament to the devs passion, skill and how overworked they were.

you hop in it and you see you don't even have AC, let alone more premium
options. No adjustable suspension, no next gen display, no massage in
seats, no climatronic, etc. and in the end you see that even the engine
doesn't work properly.
Tbh this game is woefully underwhelming even minus the bugs (and im playing on ps4). It seems like CDPR put all their chips on the "omfg guys Night City is so awesome" marketing strategy, yet the city doesn't feel even close to fully realized. It doesn't even seem like the technology exists rn to make this game what it needs to be, too ambitious for their own good. Plus it should only exist on PC and new consoles lol
The bugs on ps4 made it unplayable. But the way night city FEELS is so disappointing even without bugs. It just feels.... lifeless.
@@anubis2044 Man, few people want to admit that. That's the crazy part about this game. Yakuza, a lower budget game, exceeds it with ease.
Met my expectations pretty well. Perhaps it's the hype that ruined expectations. Though, it did tke over 7 years to make this game. I rate it based off the experience available in other games. Outer worlds, Fallout, games like that. And this game shits on those, 60 dollar games that I still had no problem buying. I agree they shouldn't of released it on current-gen consoles.
That’s because you’re playing it on an inferior platform. Play it on pc and you will see a difference
@@ApeGo1772 funny you mentioned Outer Worlds, literally bought that a few hours ago lol. But ya idk i wasn't overhyped, i actually pre-ordered it but didn't play it until a few days ago bc I was finishing Ghost of Tsushima. It just feels shallow, and like it's trying to be gta v, an fps, and an rpg all at the same time and not excelling in any of those. But obviously in a year or two it could be amazing as well, i hope so.
I've finished my first play-through and despite many hard crashes, glitches and bugs, I enjoyed every single minute. I had a similar experience with Kingdom Come Deliverence. If you can overlook the bugs, it's an amazing game.
Yeah man this game is really great when its working. I'm in ps4 pro and at times its stunning.
@@Marlboro-lights1 +1. I am glad I bought a pro 1-2 yrs ago
I've only managed 40 hours on PC, and only hit 1 bug where an NPC blocked my progress and I had to load a save. I've been lucky enough to avoid any crashes etc. Story is amazing though and I was hooked from the get go.
I'm 50 hours in and it's my favorite game in a couple years. I've had only 2 game breaking bugs which were fixed with earlier saves but I don't see even 10% of the bugs some people are seeing. It's so confusing. It's almost as if some people are playing different games.
@@Xaladen the only annoying thing is a crash every few hours
Hey, V isn't the only biker. Jackie rides a motorcycle.....right through cars and npc's.
The biggest and more heartbreaking flop I have witnessed. Eventually the game will turn out to be good after patches and DLCs in 1 year, but whatever, I had huge respect for CDPR and now I have only despise for them. I don't even care about the bugs and perfs, I am mad about all their lies in order to mass sales the game and all the content cuted or rewritten and in the end there is this weird feeling of playing an unfinished huge game, but as it's unifinished the missing content ( decent AI, interactivity with the City, actual meaningful Lifepaths, RPG mechanics, some character butchered like Meredith etc etc ) will never be added/fixed/overhauled through updates.
Hell the game is so unfinished there are many spots in the city with missing assets and you just fall in the void suddently. If they had work on it 6 months more, even 1 year, the game could have been incredible and a challenger for Bioware and Bethesda's RPGs but it's released in this state, so in 6 months the game will likely be forgotten and it's sure as hell I won't replay it ever whatever they add and I will never buy any game from this studio, even if trailers for Witcher 4 create some hype. I despise this studio, even Ubisoft, EA or Bethesda didnt lied and plotted like CDPR did.
". . .If we all didn't have to improve, man, what a good life that'd be."
That's some philosophy I can live by. Always improve, always get better.
How can 688 people give a thumbs down to such a full, honest, and in-depth review? Idiots....! Excellent review!
I already was waiting to get this, but just wanted to hear your take on it, Karak and yeah, this is pretty much what Cyberpunk is right now: a buggy mess that fails to be an RPG, fails to be a decent shooter, and...well just fails. Waiting for the fixes and probably a deep sale, since, historically, CDPR is known for good sales anyway. It might be a decent game some day, but if we are going to have to wait for a No Man's Sky level of fix that this needs, well I am going to do just that: wait. Not dropping cash on broken promises and rushed out games. This game just proves what we already know: stop fucking pre-ordering, people. Stop being guinea pigs and unpaid bug testers.
Who am I kidding, FOMO and idiocy is what drives the video game industry. Oh well. Wait for a sale is my game here anyway.
What makes it fail to be a shooter?
@@farhan007 AI bugging out causing terrible shooting experiences combined with cases where the enemies will see through walls and often guns that just feel....off....like there is something wrong with the feedback. Add in stealth with is just broken and it is neither fun to run and gun nor hide and peek.
i dont get the FOMO mentality of single player games lol. i guess you can be afraid of spoilers? im on the same page. i honestly wasnt interested in this game prior. It was always going to be wait for a deep sale even if the game was everything it was hyped to be. Admittedly, seeing reviews did spark some level of interest in me. I could see myself enjoying the game, but now i really will be waiting for a deep sale and 6-12 months at least. Wait long enough and I might even get it for free haha.
@@hoofhearted4 FOMO is by definition illogical. Would not bother rationalizing it.
I'm not playing this until Dec 2021. I'll give CDPR time to update this game like Square Enix did with FF14. They need to change the role playing aspects of the game.
The thing with FF14 is that Square Enix complete scrapped the game and started all over from scratch. It almost ended them in terms of money but they did it and they did it quite fast and properly. I mean if CDPR had 8 years and couldn't come out with a good game then that says alot. I mean FF14 A Realm Reborn even came out for PS4 and PS3, a last last gen console and PC. They are now one of the best MMORPG's to play in the world and still get content with lots of players. There is no way CDPR is going to scrap Cyberpunk and redo it all. They are just going to patch it in. I hope it works and the fix it but from what most have played and see they have lots of missing features to add in. Even then this game wasn't as good and was overhyped even if it was complete or without bugs.
@@Fate862 not 8 years... they got to work on this mainly after Witcher 3 was done with DLC....
Great review! I was kinda afraid you would say "Wait until it's on sale", but you gave the same response I would: "Do not buy this game".
Nobody would buy a fridge that turns off every monday and friday. Nobody would buy a smartphone where Google Maps crashes every time you turn right. And nobody should buy unfinished games like these.
But its really one of those situations where "Your mileage varies" as people have different experiences. Played on the PS5 and it was perfectly fine, bugs and crashes of course but nothing that really took away or made me mad. I'd say its worth a play if someone has been itching for it. If you can wait for updates by all means lol
Instead of walking the walk, walking into walls xD
It's RAWWW! wait till it's fully cooked.
Oooo baby I like it rawwww.
I'll take uncooked or hand sitting. One man's trash right...
Give it to us raw and wriggly...
i liked alot of it on ps5 but probably the most unfinished game ive played
My gran could do better! And she's dead!
Fr, that's what I've been saying since before it even came out
One of the few big reviewers that was honest and chose to maintain their reputation and integrity, thank you
Over hyped games for pre sales and has about 6 months to a year to fix. Just more gaming industry bs. Can a company actually put out a finished unbroken game.
Yeah, there's companies that do it all the time. They're called independent game developers.
@@Largentina. They usually run on early access etc. With "fully released alpha and betas" for years though.
That label lets them have a release while patching for years without anger from people like you.
@@mjay6245 There is a very select few of indie devs that take the early access model. I've literally never played an Early Access game in my life.
Sony studios don't bullshit you like this.
Dante's Inferno Yeah they’re the only good ones now (well except for rockstar, even though they’re focusing a lot on milking their online mods in gta and rdr).
The modding community will be as essential in reviving this game as the devs themselves are. There's certainly a mountain of bugs and cut content that needs attention. Give 'em time, it'll get there.
This mindset is the problem. Why are they releasing and charging full price for a game that may "get there"...with the help of fans none the less.
@@TheMattTrakker true but let’s not blame the devs. it’s the higher ups that shitted on us by making them release a game that wasn’t finished.
@@chance757 unfortunately the guys at the bottom of the food chain will shafted, one way or the other.
@Armed Disks how? they don’t decide when the game gets released. i think a streamer named cohhcarnage said it best in his review. he said it’s like management walked into the room, told them to stop where they were and just wrap up what they could because the game was releasing in 6 months and i couldn’t agree more. investors probably put pressure on and they didn’t want to lose the money so they gave us what they had. you’re dead wrong if you blame them since it’s through their hard work that there’s good stuff in the game to begin with!
Lol no. This isn't a bethesda game pal.
Someone at my job asked me about Cyberpunk 2077 cause he was thinking about getting it. I told him: It's like a genius level teenager that has all the potential in the world to do anything in life, but chose a life of drugs and crime and is now in prison.
This is a 'wait for two years until all the DLC is out and all the bugs are fixed'.
