I'm so glad you started a channel. I watched a tour of your place probably 30 times. I was so inspired that I ended up redoing my tanks with only live plants, and i collected rocks from our steam at our cattle ranch. I purchased a 55 gallon last week I need to build a stand for. I have a few tanks. One has been going for about 20 years, and I have big dreams of a fish room one day. After we finish building the barn, I can bring that dream to life. I recently got some limia perugiae I'm pretty excited about. I also put in with them spotted hillstream loach and orange venezuelan cory. Finches are wonderful ❤ I currently have parakeets. I rescued one, and then I ended up rescuing 6 more 😂 those are beautiful little parrots. I haven't seen those in years. I lost a bunch of fish in my 300-gallon pond to birds, so I have to come up with a new plan. What a piece of parades. Thanks for sharing with us

It was around midnight on this side of the world last night, when i got the notification of this video.i couldn't resist,but i promised myself i would only watch half of it because i had an early start the next day.i ended up watching the whole video.at 5 in the morning the alarmclock went of as usual.i had a REALLY hard time getting out of bed,bareley made it to work in time,struggled on the job,lack of concentration and at lunch i fell asleep!! it's the buckets of coffee that got me through this day. TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!! Same time next week !!!😂👍👍

My dad and step-monster bred Gouldian finch's. I helped him build flights in his basement. They bred them for solid colors i.e. blue, yellow, white I think. The solid colors sold for more money over here in the states but I always loved the natural or common colors. Really beautiful birds. They would steal there eggs and have society finch's hatch them. One bit of advice as a person who spends way to much time on you tube. Hour long videos are hard to watch I feel like the sweet spot as a consumer is 20-30 min. I love your fish room but shoot I'll never get my chores done if I'm watching you all day.

The bonsais are beautiful! What a lovely collection of birds and fish you have. When I was a child my great grandmother had chickens. My sister and I were 3 and 4 and lived to make them jump, which wasn’t very nice of us. She told us to top. One day I went in with my Dad to collect eggs..,it was revenge of the chickens…they seriously pecked my kegs and my Dad had to carry me out, I came I. Crying and she said, deadpan, “I told not to tease those chickens.” Never did it again!

My girls are awesome and I have absolutely zero concern of them, but whenever I’m in the pen, I keep one eye on him at all times as he is stab me with his Spur a couple of times now and drawn blood Thanks so much for your support 🙏🇦🇺❤️🦘🐶

@AdriansFishroom I work part-time at my local pet store, I don't need any extra help with setting up various enclosures. I have 14 fish tanks and I'm in the process of setting up a vivarium for dart frogs. My "hobby" job costs me more than I make!

Adrian, I have a tank with a large number of Malaysian snails thriving I want to get rid of them, however in the same tank my Mystery snails die, I don't know why, you seem to be able to keep and breed them, what am I doing wrong, I think my water is okay, I don't lose fish or shrimp, the shrimp thrive and breed. Another great video mate. Great tip re frangipani leaves, I have a tree so I'll try some dead leaves. Do you find the rust on the leaves that most frangipanis have to be an issue? I look forward to seeing what you do with that small tank at 28:00 as I have the same tank and have been wondering what to do with it other than the obvious (shrimp). I've thought about those darwin crabs as an alternative to vampire crabs that we obviously don't have/want here, keen to see how they go. Hey @indoorecosystem these are the darwin crabs we've talked about in the past. I mean, that’s such a cool message to Read and thank you so much for sending it. I find that the lease drop in there randomly and all types and I’ve never had an issue. I would start with maybe half a leaf just to see how they go and expand from there. I’m sure they will do great. As far as the other tank is send, yes I’m actually considering a two level sinkhole/cave style possibly for a bumblebee Gobe, or something else that’s a bit oddball. I can see it in my mind I just have to get it out and into the tank lol.❤️🙏
I put one in, the Pleco fry haven't left it alone haha, although there isn't much of it left even after just a day, so they don't last long, lucky I have a constant supply. Cave tank will be cool, there is a good one on display at Pet City in Mt Gravatt which was featured on Fish For Thoughts Fish Tank Review video a week or two ago. It's very cool, check it out if you need some inspo (he built it out of the tank with foam and then slid/glued it into place. Look forward to seeing what you do (and I may then just blatantly copy it haha).

Thanks so much for your support all the way over there and I guess a general rule of thumb is the condition of the river that you take them from if it’s clean and clear and things are thriving in that environment then the rocks will most likely be fine. If you have any Concerns, you can always put them into a separate bucket for a week or two and see what happens with them overtime before you add them to your tank

I’m about to move to Grafton from the UK and am bringing my aquariums with me..will need setting up again from scratch, which is both incredibly sad and exciting in equal measures 😆

Wanting to put mine on my balcony but regarding pump for me is to plug it it unless I have my door open at all times as I dont have a plug outlet on the balcony:( Thanks mate, am new so trying to learn more beforehand I go ahead with it :)
No most of my ponds run on sponge filters and air only….. one air filter should run multiple ponds for you mate if you can get the power out there to do so. Cheaper than a pump too.

@AdriansFishroom I work part-time at my local pet store, I don't need any extra help with setting up various enclosures. I have 14 fish tanks and I'm in the process of setting up a vivarium for dart frogs. My "hobby" job costs me more than I make!

Adrian, I have a tank with a large number of Malaysian snails thriving I want to get rid of them, however in the same tank my Mystery snails die, I don't know why, you seem to be able to keep and breed them, what am I doing wrong, I think my water is okay, I don't lose fish or shrimp, the shrimp thrive and breed. Another great video mate. Great tip re frangipani leaves, I have a tree so I'll try some dead leaves. Do you find the rust on the leaves that most frangipanis have to be an issue?

I've thought about those darwin crabs as an alternative to vampire crabs that we obviously don't have/want here, keen to see how they go. Hey @indoorecosystem these are the darwin crabs we've talked about in the past.

I find that the lease drop in there randomly and all types and I’ve never had an issue. I would start with maybe half a leaf just to see how they go and expand from there. I’m sure they will do great.
As far as the other tank is send, yes I’m actually considering a two level sinkhole/cave style possibly for a bumblebee Gobe, or something else that’s a bit oddball. I can see it in my mind I just have to get it out and into the tank lol.❤️🙏
I put one in, the Pleco fry haven't left it alone haha, although there isn't much of it left even after just a day, so they don't last long, lucky I have a constant supply.
Cave tank will be cool, there is a good one on display at Pet City in Mt Gravatt which was featured on Fish For Thoughts Fish Tank Review video a week or two ago. It's very cool, check it out if you need some inspo (he built it out of the tank with foam and then slid/glued it into place.

Hi Adrian, how do you know that the rocks you get from your river are safe for tanks? Any advice? Greetings from Belgium!
Thanks so much for your support all the way over there and I guess a general rule of thumb is the condition of the river that you take them from if it’s clean and clear and things are thriving in that environment then the rocks will most likely be fine. If you have any Concerns, you can always put them into a separate bucket for a week or two and see what happens with them overtime before you add them to your tank

No most of my ponds run on sponge filters and air only….. one air filter should run multiple ponds for you mate if you can get the power out there to do so. Cheaper than a pump too.
