Hello from German, just a short comment regarding "Süßwassertang", as I often see it misspelled in RUclips videos: The letter "ß" is not a "b", but rather a substitute for "ss". The "ß" indicates that the "ü" before is to be pronounced long. And "Süßwasser" simply means "freshwater". ;-) Oh, and great video as always!

Indeed! I'm over-run with the bladder snails (pond snails). I was even thinking about using a fish-safe molluscicide. (Extreme, I know.) None of them are safe for shrimp, however. OMG love the Sterbai Cory tank at 21.13 into the video. Could watch them all day. Have a group of 11 adults. Definaltely my fave fish in my community tank. So underated. In regards to the Susswassertank. I find it constantly blocks my intake to the external canister filter and affects the flow which the cory love. Only negative to such a beautiful plant.

I’m sure the Europeans will be laughing at us Aussies standing outside in a T shirt in the middle of winter saying it’s freezing 😂 love susswassertang I have it in all my tanks going mental. I got a small golf ball sized portion for free when I ordered some shrimp and it’s now everywhere. I actually pulled some out and couldn’t bare to toss it and I remembered you saying on another vid you just had it in a tub and forgot about it in ambient light. So I thought I’d take a leaf out of your book see how she grows and might donate some to my LFS down the track.

Fantastic video! I love your fish room, so inspiring. What are these spots of algae above the suesswassertang at 10:01? I have this growing like a carpet on the driftwood and now it spreads to some rocks as well.
Thanks so much as always, I really appreciate your support. I think that it is normal diatom algae that grows on the glass and yes, it will definitely grow on rocks. If you’re able to put a Pleco or similar algae eater in that tank, it will be gone in no time. I like to let it build up and grow as the baby shrimp or feet off of it, but that is not, great for filming. Lol.🙏❤️👍🏻🇦🇺🐶
@@AdriansFishroom for a long time I thought it looks rather nice and yes, the shrimp love it, but now as it spreads I am not sure anymore. People in a facebook group said it's Cladophora algae and very hard to get rid of. Do you have experience with nerite snails and their ability to eat this kind of algae? I don't really want to put chemicals in the tank.
Do you ever have problems with pests on the plants growing out of your tanks, I have now mealy bugs and am not sure how to get rid of them without endangering the tanks. Video on getting rid of trumpet snails would be great too.
Thanks so much and yep, I’m filming the snow video this weekend hopefully, and the only scrubs that I have problem with are butterflies or caterpillars, laying eggs on the Pothos and then being eaten by the caterpillars. Hi there thanks so much for your support and yeah, the price of plants is ridiculous. I know. Is one of the reasons why I’ve always tried to propagate and grow them myself so that I can shop downstairs as opposed to shop online. Lol I would think yes is the answer as to whether or not they can go with Shrimp, and I would in particular make sure you had lots of hiding spaces with plants and rocks be on the safe side.🇦🇺👍🏻🐶🙏❤️

Hi adrian i am going to set up a small fish rack in my garage i have a couple of tubs I think i will get a couple of pairs of bettas and breed them I think I will breed some other live bearers on the side for some extra cash i have 1 4ft 3 5 gallons and 2 large storage tubs is there and coldwater fish i should try breeding i have bred a ton of white clouds btw. any advice or tips i want to make some money it will be harder since iit is winter.
Hey, that sounds fantastic and my tips would be make sure that you give each fish enough room to feel comfortable and be healthy and the best condition to breed. This will make sure you get the maximum number of babies eat spawn and I would grow all of the babies up together and grow out tank males and females for as long as you can so that they learn to become community Fish not fish in cups. Choose the best quality bet as you can as the parents and feed them up really well for a month or two before you try and spawn them so that they are in peak condition to give breed Best of luck let me know how it goes🙏❤️🐶🇦🇺👍🏻
It would average between 10 and 20° I guess, but certain times of the year the air temperature does get down to -3 in the mountains where we are.🙏🐶🇦🇺👍🏻❤️

Those types of Coorey’s know they do not crossbreed and stick within their particular species group. Most queries are the same however, I’m sure there are some that might hybridize and it’s always best to keep species only. I have those seed pods too, the insides go a bit mushy and gross but can scrape it out after it goes soft. Then the pods look cool.

I got a small golf ball sized portion for free when I ordered some shrimp and it’s now everywhere. I actually pulled some out and couldn’t bare to toss it and I remembered you saying on another vid you just had it in a tub and forgot about it in ambient light. So I thought I’d take a leaf out of your book see how she grows and might donate some to my LFS down the track.

Fantastic video! I love your fish room, so inspiring. What are these spots of algae above the suesswassertang at 10:01? I have this growing like a carpet on the driftwood and now it spreads to some rocks as well.
Thanks so much as always, I really appreciate your support. I think that it is normal diatom algae that grows on the glass and yes, it will definitely grow on rocks. If you’re able to put a Pleco or similar algae eater in that tank, it will be gone in no time. I like to let it build up and grow as the baby shrimp or feet off of it, but that is not, great for filming. Lol.🙏❤️👍🏻🇦🇺🐶
@@AdriansFishroom for a long time I thought it looks rather nice and yes, the shrimp love it, but now as it spreads I am not sure anymore. People in a facebook group said it's Cladophora algae and very hard to get rid of. Do you have experience with nerite snails and their ability to eat this kind of algae? I don't really want to put chemicals in the tank.
Do you ever have problems with pests on the plants growing out of your tanks, I have now mealy bugs and am not sure how to get rid of them without endangering the tanks. Video on getting rid of trumpet snails would be great too.
Thanks so much and yep, I’m filming the snow video this weekend hopefully, and the only scrubs that I have problem with are butterflies or caterpillars, laying eggs on the Pothos and then being eaten by the caterpillars. They wrecked havoc on my place this year, but the reality is they save me from trimming it all. Lol.🙏🇦🇺❤️🐶🦘💪🏻

Hi there thanks so much for your support and yeah, the price of plants is ridiculous. I know. Is one of the reasons why I’ve always tried to propagate and grow them myself so that I can shop downstairs as opposed to shop online. Lol I would think yes is the answer as to whether or not they can go with Shrimp, and I would in particular make sure you had lots of hiding spaces with plants and rocks be on the safe side.🇦🇺👍🏻🐶🙏❤️

Hi adrian i am going to set up a small fish rack in my garage i have a couple of tubs I think i will get a couple of pairs of bettas and breed them I think I will breed some other live bearers on the side for some extra cash i have 1 4ft 3 5 gallons and 2 large storage tubs is there and coldwater fish i should try breeding i have bred a ton of white clouds btw. any advice or tips i want to make some money it will be harder since iit is winter.
Hey, that sounds fantastic and my tips would be make sure that you give each fish enough room to feel comfortable and be healthy and the best condition to breed. This will make sure you get the maximum number of babies eat spawn and I would grow all of the babies up together and grow out tank males and females for as long as you can so that they learn to become community Fish not fish in cups.
Choose the best quality bet as you can as the parents and feed them up really well for a month or two before you try and spawn them so that they are in peak condition to give breed

Don't the different types of corrys crossbreed in that tank?
Those types of Coorey’s know they do not crossbreed and stick within their particular species group. Most queries are the same however, I’m sure there are some that might hybridize and it’s always best to keep species only. I’ve had these guys like this for more than 10 years and never once have they crossbred in my experience. Thanks so much for your support.🙏❤️🐶👍🏻🇦🇺
