When a relative was in a nursing home years ago, my mother and I used to take the bus there. Right next to the facility was a large apartment complex. A young girl was listening to Shalamar on her headphones at the bus stop. An elderly man waiting for the bus with us said "Howard Hewett is related to me. He's my second cousin." The girl thought he was joking. Everytime they would meet on the bus, he would tell her that. She never believed him. Imagine how shocked she was when Howard came to visit his relatives in the complex and knocked on the girl's door to say hi!

Being young and endlessly listening and dancing to this magical music from Shalamar made us all feel immortal......you all know what I am talking about because you too all experienced those fantastic europhic feelings whilst listening and dancing to these Shalamar tunes, hit after hit, no matter where you are in the world.......we are all reliving those magic moments right now as we are all transported back to that magical time that will totally remain for all of us .....always immortal in our hearts and minds......what a phenomenal thing that we are all so fortunate to have experienced and continue to experience with this amazing music that still keeps giving us all euphoric feelings to keep us all feeling good & forever young everytime we hear it !!!

Fantastic / Iconic group. Three Individuals with their own very special talents !!. Their music allway's makes me feel so happy when I hear it. In year's to come Howard should be rewarded with the credit he deserves as a great front man as I feel he has been short changed, big time !!!!!.
