You had that in spades but your mentality wasn’t strong enough compared to the likes of Yates, Coleman and even Jay. Weinberger in this podcast said as much. IMO had you had the mindset of those guys you could’ve easily been Mr. O, when Coleman wasn’t so good in 00-02. 2000 Olympia esp, the one you no-showed was the golden opportunity wasted. Everybody was very beatable that show.
GREAT POD AS ALWAYS - RAMY WAS MUCH IMPORVED @ THE ARNOLD - your right DENNIS - Don't know what Steve is talking about??? - He was honestly night & day! Bigger- Fuller - Abs were better (waist) - his BACK looked fuller - he was able to open it up & everything - Not a RAMY fan but I see what I see - RAMY should have been top 3
Milos is right! Make posing a scored part of the Olympia eg worth 5-10% of the score. & with all respect Steve is wrong when he says posing is like dancing and not about muscle...it requires great muscular control to hold the hardness in posing, the striations, keeping it all under control in the transitions etc. At the very least, if we can't have a scored pose-off then make a seperate posing section for a cash prize, like they used to have. & if mondy is an issue than reduce the top prize by 25k etc and apportion that to the scored posing section/competition.
Man... That's so funny! I love Steve. He is a million percent real. In a way - I shouldn't have asked the question when I know he was a friend of Dorian... But, if I can tell Jay Cutler to his face - he shouldn't have been top 3 at the 2007 Olympia and that even his mother (if she was a judge) couldn't give him that victory...or tell Ronnie when he asked me before what I think - telling him you are lucky I was not judging...etc... - I think it is an INTERESTING conversation. And while I was one of those who believed that Nasser should have taken Dorian in 1997 - I still didn't judge...and asking Steve, who is 100% unbiased, regardless of friendships - it was good to hear. When I look some of those comparisons between Nasser and Dorian from that show....I can see how Dorian could still surface to the top! And...exactly do to Steve telling me that I am out of my mind thinking that anyone other than Dorian should have won 1993 Olympia...when I watched pictures and videos of battle between Dorian, Flex and Shawn...I can see why Dorian won...even though I like their physiques better. That's why Steve is best in what he does...and my go to...if I have any doubts....

@Muscle and Fitness-please read-hello there Dennis, I am a nobody but I experiment a lot with bodybuilding when it comes to frequency and volume and I am here to propose that Ramy can absolutely come back and his tissue will regrow especially with all the special supplements. However, you guys cannot go back to train the way you were. There are many training styles I use and they all work but what they have in the program is quality and restriction, some people like Ramy need restriction. Here is an example of what I'd do-There is low volume HIT, 1 set to failure but 1 set to failure of what, not. 2 inclined chest variations, only 1, 1 flat chest variation, 1 lower chest variation. Back is the same, all areas targeted once like Dorian did. Then you can use higher volume, 1 inclined variation but 3 sets this time at 80% intensity per set. This is the blue print, I promise you. ANother example is hitting only 3 parts of the bicep with 1 exercise each-brachialis, short head, long head. Triceps-only 1 exercise per long head and shortt head. ALL BODYBUILDERS OVER TRAIN-I think Ramy's body burnt out! this B.S about neuro this and this and nerve damage etc is most likely not true

It would be awesome if dennis can get vince Taylor 🙏🏿
straight shooter always. great episode
such good podcast with Steve, best part is when Milos asked about 97 Olympia and he said DFWM lol
lol - what did he say - "knock it off"...😁
I just couldn't help myself.
I absolutely agree with Milos. Posing is a part of bodybuilding and should matter in some way so that the competitors actually take it seriously.
@Milos Sarcev, Sir, how is that nobody mentioned Phill vs Kai rival? Was Phil better then Kai every single year? how would Mr. Steve re-judge it again? What is your opinion on that? Can you please talk about that in the next podcast? Veliki pozdrav iz Srbije :) :)
I see Chris all the time training clients in San Diego … I hope the OG because a judge that would be cool as hell
Milo's cracks me up with all his questions 😂😂😂
Was Steve talking about Shawn ray?
Steve would make a great mayor! Dude just says it… No excuses.. and funny at same time ! Btw, he could make a great interrogater in a back room too! 😂
I wish y’all would’ve asked if some thing’s competitors say online can affect how far they go in a show if a judges sees their post
Ramy didn't look improved @ the Arnolds compared to Olympia? Stuart has much better shape than Tonio? Samson 3. rank @ Pittsburgh?
Yeah very questionable answers this tells you its only a opinion sport judges choose what they personally prefer
You can tell Dennis is really getting annoyed about Milos and his posing arguement😂
Because it is annoying!! I don't know what's this guy trying to prove?!! His opinion is a joke, he's saying you should hide your weaknesses with posing and trying to convince judges with dancing on the stage!!😂 then what about those athletes that don't have weakness but they are not good posers?!!
@@soroushnek not a good poser is a big weakness, Paul Dillet is a good example
Huh. Posing is part of the sport. If you can’t pose and show your muscles, he’ll most likely lose to a good poser who isn’t as genetically superior.
@@jolee2433 what an example you brought 😂 Paul wasn't a good poser and he had lots of weak body parts, that's why he wasn't very successful, he wasn't from 70s or 80s to hide his weaknesses with posing!!! He was from the era that judging was the same as it is now
@@mattspencer6154 at least watch this podcast and you will understand that you're completely wrong!!! You're telling me or telling Steve as head judge?!! Lol
Denis James made a beautiful mass monster out of Natalia Kovaleva 🔥 ... congrats to Denis James ... he really nailed it ... Natalia was on point ... picture perfect ..
He mi8 make her win the Ms. Olympia ... this year ... 🤷🏻♂️ the way she's going ...
Denis looks really sad to hear the negative things about Big Ramy ...
But don't worry, u hv Natalia Kovaleva ... she's a big threat for the Ms. Olympia title ...
46:25 This is the mentally that held Chris back from winning the big shows. Motivation comes from within, nobody can bring it out of you.
No, what help me back is judges, picking shut up muscle over real muscle and where are you even alive to know anything do you know anything now? Have you even done anything close to what I’ve done in my life
@@christophercormier4146Don’t take it personal, just my opinion having followed the sport for 30 years. I’m not knocking your talent or physique.
@@christophercormier4146lol You’re getting mad but he’s right. You had A level genetics but C level commitment.
Lol you all are arguing to Chris’s burner account that’s not even chris
Not only that, saying it would be “easy” to beat Ronnie any year is laughable, you all have no clue how hard it is to even step on an Olympia stage,
Love Samir❤
Lol Milos is wearing a Baki shirt!
Who is Baki?
Milos with the Baki shirt!! 🙌
Lol Ramy is a complete mess, stop.
@@JohnDoe-12 he WAS much better @ the Arnold. Pittsburgh a mess again
I respect rami but his legs don't match with the rest of his body .so big and clunky legs which don't look nice compared with the rest
Chris's physique was really undeniable
Milos is my favourite but he really needs to let the posing round argument go 😂😂
Not at all.Milos is correct about posing rounds and if you regularly WENT to shows you d agree fully
How many African American and LGBT judges are there in the IFBB?
Who cares
You are joking right
@@MrRaitzi😂😂😂
"Milos, why you f*** with me?" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@MilosSarcevOfficialRUclipsPage oh wow thx! I was doing my afterworkout stretching in the gym and i was bustin my ass lauhging out loud. Ppl must be watching why this grazy man is laughing by himself 🤣
And Such a great input as always! Thx milos doing all these podcasts and answering such a way to my msg! I had no idea steve was so funny! 🤣 And he has been in the game so long too so he know what he is talking about!
1997 NIGHT OF THE CHAMPIONS I WAS THERE MOST AMAIZNG TIMES EVER BIG NIKCS RESUTRAUNT 77 AND BROAD WAY BUFFLOW BURGERS AND OSTRICH MEAT EVERY ONE CAME TO EAT
I'm new was lee haney the dude with huge Latss smaller legs n, sorry "black"? Him best body or Dorian all the way😊
1:06:12 you gotta love Samir lol 😂
Yates 91 NOC was what shocked me
I was there...He looked amazing!
Thank God Steve did this and did Not go on Trigilli’s like Nick was bragging about ‼️
Get Samir on this show
