  • Hello everyone and welcome back to the Little Quilter. Today I am going to finish the backing for the Legendary Quilt and I am going to design the quilting for this quilt. I am so excited to share the design ideas that I have for this quilt. If you are interested in how I pursue designing the quilt then just follow along. Hope you enjoy!
I purchased this quilt from a quilt shop on Etsy. If you do not want a kit and want to use some of your own fabric then check out the linked quilt pattern.
I hope that you all enjoy the video and don't forget to subscribe and like!

Your trees with all the different patterns is going to look great!!! The scraggly scruffy look of the sasquatch with the little heart is perfection!!

Love your ideas. I enjoy seeing your thought processes. For anyone out there who does not have pro-create, I got this idea from stitched by Susan, use a sheet of plexiglass from your favorite hardware store. I lay my quilts on a table put the plexiglass on top and use a dry erase marker to design. I think I spent about $12. 😊

Love, love the fabric you used for the backing. I wonder how the fur of big foot would look with horizontal wavy lines. Also try a vertical wavy line on one of the trees. Keep in mind this comes from someone who doesn't know much at all about designing anything.😂

Hand embroidery the tiny heart in red. ❤

Why not do a wind or windy design over the whole quilt. I did that for snow scene. It was beautiful and you may get frustrated with tiny quilting. 😊
