Thank you! I'm not a drummer (sax, keys, gtr), but I needed someone to show me how to get a good bossa sound on my snare (the only drum I own!) with brushes, to lay down a bossa rhythm for my custom-made backing tracks. This was clear, and I'll be using the lessons learned tonight!

samba/bossa should be felt/counted in 2/4 using 16th notes as the primary subdivision. What a novice!!!
