Whenever you were discussing peep rotation, one of the variants from the one that you recommended changing strings (rotation of peep during your draw) is due to other ways of tying peeps. Let me explain, there is ways of tying peeps that do not bind the string at the top and at the bottom which leads to changing the way the strings rotate( example of altering how your string rotation happens due to variants in your strings twist/space is the way a bowmar peep tuner works, it creates the same effect), if you change that method to your way of tying a peep it will fix that issue. Again it’s not always, but this was my case! Thank you so much for the amazing knowledge you’re sharing.
Brought my bow in to the pro shop to get the peep adjusted in the press and it was tied in like this, had twisted after about 75 shots. The tech looked at it and asked me what idiot tied the peep in like that. Told him I did it and he said whoever told you to do it that way is wrong and you should never tie it in that way. He undid it and tied it in straight across the peep. Straightened out my peep for me and I’ve never been back to that shop. Sad too cuz I bought a few bows from them over the years.
Man I’ve heard this story all too often. The amount of bad peep tie ins I’ve seen is crazy. No reason not to use a method that doesn’t let your peep move, it’s just like bolting down your sight!
True story. PSA, if youre using bloodline fibers on your string you're going to want to use a serving that has good grip or coat your serving with beeswax before applying. 3d tends to slip and move on bloodline fibers even using a constrictor knot.
I use the same tie in method i just had to switch materials. Love you channel.
