    "Elbows and Feet together" helped a lot as I started to learn the snatch and as I continue to build.

    Awesome wisdom from one of the greats! Going to add these tips and drills! The no hook grip really made a difference for me in emphasizing my upper body.

    When the late Glenn Pendlay said once....the moment the barbell makes hip contact your feet move into the receiving position... That cue was everything for me as it improved my timing and speed.

      Its good for some and really bad for others. For example, it could cut your extension if you use a chinese style 2nd pull

      @@JuggernautTrainingSystems I would be curious to hear what Max thinks about Lasha's recently hitting 223/265. I mean Lasha is a monster with no real equal in his weight class.

    Any tips on actual weight progression? I've been stuck doing 30-40 kgs for months, just to get the technique down. I think I have it pretty good at 30, but wobbly at 40. Do I just keep doing reps like these or should I push myself more? Perhaps just doing these drills with 50-60?

    I recently felt like I improved my snatch slightly by starting my feet a bit wider than my clean and jerk (maybe 2-4" wider). It reduces how far they have to jump out. Is that common for snatch stance to be a bit wider than clean and jerk?
