While he was visiting Ireland, America was embroiled in the Vietnam war. I'm not sure what your angle is, but if it's a stab at the quaint, naive and innocent view held of Ireland in the early 70's, the idea of portraying a naive black american to the destructive side of humanity as a platform for your criticism is laughable.
