I finally managed to learn how to edit Sprites and Zone in the Fan Game Sonic 2 Absolute

  • Not a long time ago like a Week, I wanted to edit a Certain Game's Levels like other people could in fan games of re-creations of Remakes that also Credited the Original Developers. So I downloaded the Level Editor, and opened the file setting it to Sonic 2 Absolute. Sonic 2 Absolute is a Remake of Sonic 2 that was originally owned by Sega, and Sonic Team. The Developer that done Sonic 2 Absolute was Team Forever ©️2022 along crediting Sega. The Sonic 2 Absolute without Others Feature changes some of the Sprites like the Life Icon, HUD, and Player Sprites to make it feel more better and adds additional options to allow Sonic 3 Sheilds and the Peelout from Sonic CD also has a toggle option with its picture length and add toggle Sonic Max Dashing. You could also change the Super Music for this game too like you could in Sonic 3 A.I.R. I used certain features to make the Game look accurate to the Original Sonic 2 with a feature removing the Absolute Branding by Neatthingys. When I learned about editing some Sonic 2 Zones after some other people did it. I added some additional platforms and parts to make some of the zones easier. I edited like 6 Zones so far! I am only showcasing 5 of them I edited. Editing Sonic 2 Official Zone Layouts that were orginally pre-made by Sega in a Sonic 2 Fan-Game Sonic 2 Absolute by Team Forever feels so creative like you are playing Super Mario Maker again. Except Sonic Zone Style! Sega and Sonic Team allowed several users to get away with making Free Sonic Fan-Games including remakes of their own 2D 1991 to 1994 including other feature tweaks people added by downloading them to modern sonic games in 2017 to Present Year even if the layout is changed or sprites polished to be more beautiful. With allowing Sonic Games on Roblox! Editing Zones in Sonic 2 feel more difficult and a bit slow compared to creating a Mario Level in Super Mario Maker 1 and 2. With Sonic 2 the Ground gets called Tiles, and there is so many tiles base Ground to choose from. With its bottom left to right top layers to choose from. Then their is Objects it’s possible to put a unlimited amount of objects without coming to a number limit or running out compared to how the first 2 Mario Maker Games have limits with objects, baddies, and blocks/ground materials. You can also change the Zone Names too besides Sprites and Game Dev Configuration. I managed to edit Emerald Hill Zone and do one where I spawn a whole ton of Dr. Eggman Bosses in it. It was pretty silly and fun! I am going to give out the Credits now to what users I got the resources from was. The Official 2013 Sega Sonic 2 Sprites along with the hud were edited by Sega, Sonic Team, and Jake Scartoff, the Sonic 2 HD OST was ported over into Sonic 2 Absolute was featured by Ptk, and finally the Sonic 2 Absolute Expanded of someone edited the Proto Zone is Credited by coolguy6943. And I also edited his edited Zone to make The Proto Zone feel more Complete. I renamed the Proto Zone Mystic Discovery. The rest of the Edited Zones from Sega and Menu Sprites were edited and tweaked to look more Original and cool by me, Tails Z. All the Credits I have given off here are reserved!
