I enjoyed the scenery and the composition as well. Although the colors may be a tad moody , it works very well.

I think you are way too hard on yourself… you create beautiful paintings and I’m glad you decided to share this one. Giving you a big hug and wishing you to get through burnout. See you on the other side of the foggy mountain, where inspiration lives 🤗

Jackie, this is beautiful. I have company at the moment. Later this evening, I will be watching you paint this stunning piece of artwork several times, and then I will do my best and give it a try.
I love everything you do, and your cozy, relaxed atmosphere is like therapy. To me, you're one of the best. 🌿🖌💚

It’s always wild whenever I hear artists that I think are amazing talk about struggles, but it’s certainly so relatable. I think the same thing lol

J'aime beaucoup les effets produits par le couteau. J'aimerais aussi des paysages avec des cascades, des rivières... pas trop pour les fleurs.

Yes, please reconsider your light sourcing. The shadows were a bit disconcerting for me. The painting itself is fine and you bring up points to consider and things to try, like using a pallet knife for rocks. Hope you have overcome your burnout.

I do wish you said what you would have used hindsight. I think that would make a good solution for those who struggle in "matching" colors.
