@@annmariebarrett1671 When you beat the hell out of mango butter, its so light and fluffy. 🤩 Shea oil is white like vaseline but much lighter and you have the advantage of knowing that you are using a pure natural product.
@@annmariebarrett1671 My hair hates coconut oil too.Shea butter tends to be too heavy for my hair. I get ezcema and the shea oil is really good for that as well.
I have a suggestion. Try melting some of the sunny isle and mixing it with an equal part of regular castor oil. That should reduce the viscosity to a more useable point. I think you should do braid outs more often.
Looking at your beautiful hair has me regretting putting a relaxer in my hair because i could not find any products for my hair right away. Now my hair needs a big ass chop of about 5 inches to where its thick and now they sell grease and castor oil and products i bought that didnt work $17.00 shampoo and conditioner and $$ up. Im cutting and buying grease im going back to my youth when i had my real thick 4a hair some parts 4c. I live in nova scotia canada and only 2 stores sell black products really just relaxer and dax pomade and ors oil. Now they are selling an orange label very expensive and castor oil liquid.
Honestly sis just go back to the basics. Water, leave in and some hair grease. I have tried all the expensive natural hair products and none of them work! How did it go with your big chop?
I'm so glad you tried it My favorite is the lavender scented one I actually use it last, after hair grease on my ends It is quite heavy as you stated, but my hair needs heavy sealants because my porosity is so high Your hair looks great! It always does, no matter what you use! 😃 Thanks for another great review!

Been waiting for this vid. I might try this, I like sticky butters. My braid out would last for days. To me in the jar it looked like coconut oil. I thought black castor oil should be dark. It seemed like you weren’t keen on it. 😬
I've been trying to put people up on this product for two years. I LOVE this stuff.

Girl...I just discovered this a couple weeks ago! I AM OBSESSED!
I love Jamaican black castor oil butter it works better for my hair than regular grease
You looked so happy when you came back with the braid out. Beautiful.
🤣 oh I was. I was scared of the turn out.
Love this, being using it for years now
Is it mistirize sis ?
Moisturize I meant smh
@@mrs.israel7197 no it is a sealant just like grease
You are so pretty and your skin is so smooth.
Thank you very much x
I’m getting a 90’s vibe nice and full
Really?! I like the style even better now. I’ve got a 90s vibe about my wardrobe currently lol
I think you are right. This product does not seem right for the scalp, but perfect for braid/twistout. Great video, thanks for the honest review🙂
You are so welcome!
Mango butter is the way to go. Its much lighter.
Shea oil is also is very light. I get the shea oil from a company called Monshea in the UK.
I love mango butter for my hair... actually my hair loves mango butter 😄

Perfect for those two things.

Ooo I love love that butter. Will be trying the one infused with lavender.
I didn’t even think to look for the lavender one. It must smell so good. 🤗
Your hair is beautiful.
Can you explain your thoughts on using silicones? I haven’t tried the S-Curl moisturizer because it has simethicone.
Hey, I willl be doing a q&a video tomorrow (27.9.2020) and will answer this question in there for you. x
It was a bit to thick for for my hair. I use for eyebrows & edges. To me it’s more like a pomade. I was hoping for something not so heavy.
Agree 🙌🏾. I thought it would be more like hair grease. I’ve mixed it with the liquid castor oil and it’s a lot better.
It reminds me of Talliah Waajed product-your hair is always gorgeous❣️🎉💥❤️🔥
Thank you Deb. I tried one hair product for that brand and didn’t try anything else... it wasn’t good lol. Have you tried this one ?
@Deborah Rigby - Which Taliah Waajid product does it remind you of?

Waw. Nice outcome.
Thank you Natelyn 🤗
That butter is to thick for my scalp. I still use the Dax grease which is much lighter. Love your hair as always😃👍🏽
Also suggest African Black Soap.
Is this on the market and beauty stores
Beautiful, I love it.
Thank you Julie! 😊
I’m going to try this new butter. I know what you mean about the drip, drip! S Curl now has a new bottle design that is No 💧 Drip. Check it out!
Oh really. I’ve got to try it. 😉

I want to try it. Was going to try this during lockdown but the shops were closed. Then on eBay they were selling it for £99!
🤭😳 oh my gosh £99... the audacity.

It's available on Amazon for reasonable price. I swear by it

I was just a bit confused as to what I was looking at in the jar 🤣
If you grease the scalp with that will it clog your pores
Depends on how much you use. It's kind of trial and error.
Does anyone know.... Is the size used in the video the same size as in the amazon link? It's double the price
It’s the same size as the one I have in the video, however you may have a better chance of getting it at a local hair store for a cheaper price.

Where do yu find it at?
You can find it on amazon, but you may have a better chance getting it at your local Afro hair store.
I microwave it to soften it up, since it’s in a glass jar
I think I’ll try that.
I did the same thing and it worked
Very nice.
Thank you
It's a great butter. 🤔 Maybe you put too much in your hair. Depending on one's hair density, you have to watch how much you apply.
Thanks for the tips!
